SOURCE: I cannot remove my sd card from my lg dare. How do

To insert the SD Card you had to push it in the SD Card slot until it stayed in the phone. To remove the SD Card simply push the SD Card into the phone and it will eject itself. I think it is spring loaded or something. It's almost impossible to remove the SD Card by pulling on it.

Micro sd memory card password remover

Micro Secure Digital memory cards, or Micro SD cards, provide storage for a variety of different kinds of devices, including mobile phones, PDAs and cameras.

They can be protected by passwords so that the information that you have saved on it is secure. Sometimes, the password can be forgotten or lost.

Recovering your password is easily done with your computer and SD card reader on your computer.

Place the micro SD card into your card reader on your computer.
Right-click your "Start" button and then "Explore".

Find the micro SD card, it will be listed as a removable drive.
Click on the micro SD card and the files will show on the right-hand side.

Find the file that says " MMCSTORE" and then select "Copy."
Right-click on your desktop and then click "Paste."

This will move the MMCSTORE file to the desktop so that you can get access to edit it.
Right-click on the MMCSTORE and then click on "Open With."

Open the file with Notepad.
Read the text to find the password. It will be in plain text.

Remove the SD card from the computer and place it into the device for which it is used as storage.

Turn on the device.
When it prompts you for the password, enter it.

I have an acer travel mate laptop and i cannot find where the files on the sd card are when it is inserted in the SD slot.

Good Day Mischa!

It depends on your system as to what drive letter it assigned to your sd card.

Your system drive is C or local drive ( C:)

If it is not partitioned or you do not use additional hard disk, the next letter will be assigned to the DVD/CD drive or CD drive ( D:)

The next letter will be assigned to any removable deviced like usb flash drive or sd card.
Removable drive ( E:) or most of the time removable drive is F:.

The files on your SD card can be explored on the removable drive in your Explorer.

And also remember, there are files that are hidden in SD card when it is infected with virus. I hope this is not your concern. If somehow you can access your SD card and can see from its properties that it used space and yet you do not see any files it is infected. Run antivirus and anti-malware.

How to remove the password protection of micro sd memory card? Due to its password protection it's only accessable with Nokia 2690. Without my cell phone My Computer even won,t recognize the sd card....

Hello Sanjay,

Download FE Explorer from the link http://fexplorer.en.softonic.com/download/25347

Insert card into your phone but don't access it through phone.

Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system.

You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt

Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.

You will find your password in that file.

LG Ally Android phone says it's checking the SD card for errors. Can't access SD card.

you can try plugging the SD card into your computer with an SD card adapter and see if you can access your files.

You may have to format your SD card if you cannot access your files this way. from the phone go to settings, SD Card - phone storage (some phones its labeled different) From there you can format your SD card, depending on your phone you may have to choose Unmount SD card first.

If you continue to receive errors or are unable to format the card, it is most likely that the SD card is bad and needs to be replaced.

Hi Experts I have a ford focus with a Blaupunkt Sat Nav, similar to the second one on this link with the standard type SD card and two select controls:-...

if the unit was in uses while the sd was pulled out it could of damaged the files on the sd card. you can check the files on a pc but not run the files. the sd card has all the info for the sat nav system if it can not find or use a file it will not let you change the file. you need to do a scan on the sd card. its like a pc if you not eject the sd before removing it damages the filing system.also the web page is not accessible in my area. i would need the model number of the unit. there are software patches and map updates for all nav systems you may need to update the sd mapping software. from the manufactures web site

You can read the files on SD memory card, but you cannot write new files or you cannot edit files on SD memory card,
"Access denied", when SD card is corrupted or broken,

... ...

Tom tom go 300 ''unable to store settings'' ''file access error'

Hi,
You might have the switch on SD card set to "read only" , This would stop your tomtom being able to write to the SD card ... hence , " unable to store settings " message . .... OR ... the folder where your tomtom wants to store the settings is corrupted ( on your SD card ) so it can't store them.... or similarly , the file is corrupted on the SD card ( maybe the card is damaged ) so the existing file cannot be overwritten . Check out all these possibilities before suspecting any hardware fault on your tomtom ..... GOOD LUCK

SD CARD

If I remember correctly, when you insert an SD card, it "hides" the camera's internal memory. There should be an camera option for copying the files from the internal memory onto the inserted SD card. If not, you could try connecting the camera to your computer with the SD card removed, in order to access the files in the internal memory.
