How do I set the time on the Grey Box?

The little yellow dial has to be pulled away from the box in order to line up the silver arrow with the correct time.
Pull the whole dial towards yourself, you will notice that the yellow dial can now turn so you can line up the times that are printed on it to the correct time of day it is when you do this.
It's best to set the dial clock to the correct time of day.
Then tighten the little pointers that have the on-off words printed on them to the times you would like them to function.
If I helped you please give me a vote,Gary

Lose of hot water at times

If you keep kicking the reset you have a thermostat that is could be either the top or the bottom one...but you will have the check and see if it is switching to the bottom element or not...if it does switch to the bottom it is the bottom t-stat bad, if not then the top one is bad...

I have a digistat scr with a flashing red light and no heating there is nothing wrong with the batteries, this only occured after a poweer cut.

Try this first before condeming the unit.

1. Turn off the power supply to the Digistat SCR (receiver unit)
and leave for 5 seconds.
2. Turn on power to SCR unit and check red light is on.
3. Press override button No.2 and check the green light comes
on and boiler fires.
4. Press & hold down button No.1 (Keep depressed), then
press No.2 and keep depressed. {The Red LED light will flash
a couple of times and then it will go out}
5. Now release both the buttons – {the two LED lights should
come back on}
6. Get the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit and stand two metres away
from the SCR unit with the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit in your hand.
7. Remove the battery cover and fit the batteries.
8. The Red LED light on the SCR will now flash for approx. 7
9. This confirms that the radio signal is being sent and
10. The Digistat+2RF/+3RF and the SCR are now successfully
linked by a dedicated RF address.

No constant hot water...

Only two things come to mind. Either the clock is not set to the correct time (which I'm sure it is) or one of the elements most likely the bottom one is not heating for some reason. I would start by leaving the heater on 24 hrs by removing the trippers and switching it on. See if the problem goes away. If it does then focus on the timer settings, give it more warm up time etc. Make sure the clock is set to the right time and keeps time. If the problem persists on a 24 hrs running schedule then focus on the elements. --Turn the power off at the breaker-- and remove the access cover for each of the elements and or thermostats. Check the thermostat settings on each element for reasonableness. Sometimes the thermostat is covered by insulation material. If you need further assistance please write back with more detail. I can walk you through an element checkout if you have an AC volt / ohmmeter but since its new it should been under warranty.

Bosch AQ125BNG gas water heater

First thing I would do is clean and rebuild the watervalve. The watervalve on this heater mandates everything. This watervalve has a maintenance schedule in the manual. She be rebuilt every 3 years. Also sounds like the diaphram in the watervalve may be damaged.
