Question about Garden

Open Question

ENCORE Z ZTR Mower, Parking Brake not working properly.

I have tried adjusting it and it seems that it does not pull far enough to engage hydropump release on both sides. I tried tightening the crown nuts on both sides to tighten bracket contact and I tightened the spring rods to max. adjustment where the springs are fully compressed and it still does not disengage transmission fully. What to try next? I do not understand how this is supposed to work?

That should be right if it is an idler pulley. On belts that do not have idler pulley you will have to loosen lock bolt on adjuster. Like alternator

SOURCE: 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S, with AC - how to replace belts?

first of all you don't have to loosen the pulley, this will no solve the problem, well you already loosen the adjuster, good, bot thing you have not done i will tell you now,on the power steering pump where the belt pass there is also a bolt that hold it ,you must loosen that also, then after you will see the pump moving on the two position that means you will see the belt loosen on 1 position an d the position it will tight the belt, try that man.............

I have a toro z149 ztr 52" when I release the parking brake it will die,I have replaced the seat switch twice and still dies

Check all your grounds for corrosion, wire damage, and contact points. If it did it before you changed the first seat switch and still does it, then its not that. Check fuses is there are any. There are 3 safety features that all work in conjunction. Blade engage, parking break, seat switch. Varying by type of mower.

Cub Cadet ZTR will not start

Is the blade engagement off? If that is ok, does the solenoid even click when you put the key to start position? If the solenoid doesn't even click check the battery connections and make sure they are good and clean. If the connections are good, are you sure the new battery is fully charged. If the battery sat around for a long time in the store it could need charged. If all that is good and then you don't get the starter solenoid to click when you put the key in start position, then it is either the seat switch, parking brake switch, handle switches, or mower engage switch keeping it from starting. If all that is ok maybe you have a bad starter solenoid. Please rate my answer so I am rewarded points for it.

Arien524 when clutch is engaged the wheels donot pull right away

Sorry I should have posted this as a solution.
You might want to check the friction wheel to see if it is either worn down and needs adjusting or if it needs replacing. It could very well be just an adjusting. The friction wheel is located inside the panel under the engine. When looking inside the panel and you pull on the handle to engage the wheels you will see the round disc pull towards the friction wheel if it doesn't pull in tight enough you will have problems. Also check the belt and the idler pulley for the drive make sure the idler pulley moves easy and that it puts enough tension on the belt.
