Question about Garden
I have tried adjusting it and it seems that it does not pull far enough to engage hydropump release on both sides. I tried tightening the crown nuts on both sides to tighten bracket contact and I tightened the spring rods to max. adjustment where the springs are fully compressed and it still does not disengage transmission fully. What to try next? I do not understand how this is supposed to work?

That should be right if it is an idler pulley. On belts that do not have idler pulley you will have to loosen lock bolt on adjuster. Like alternator

Hi... to adjust rear brakes providing the shoes are good... just drive vehicle in reverse and pump brakes... rear shoes are self adjusting so they should "adjust" themselves... after doing this test by putting on park brake, put vehicle in drive and see if vehicle moves forward, repeat procedure if necessary. Hope this helps... please rate suggestion.... ty

first of all you don't have to loosen the pulley, this will no solve the problem, well you already loosen the adjuster, good, bot thing you have not done i will tell you now,on the power steering pump where the belt pass there is also a bolt that hold it ,you must loosen that also, then after you will see the pump moving on the two position that means you will see the belt loosen on 1 position an d the position it will tight the belt, try that man.............
