How do I separate the 2 parts of the Graco car seat back rest?

I need to separate the 2 parts of the backrest in order to get it back in the box. When new they were separate and just clicked together, but I can't separate them again.

SOURCE: Graco nautilus 3 in 1 car seat need help with strap installation

Yeah its a bit tricky. ON the fron of the car seat there is a strap that goes intot he seat and has a button to lossen it. Press it down to lossen that strap then flip seat over and on the bottom you will find other end of the same strap and it has a brass t-fitting. Take it and pull it up the back side of seat and the shoulder straps fit into the brass fitting then tighten by pulling strap in front of chair.

HAve fun ;)

SOURCE: winnie the pooh graco car seat how to put the arm

I had the same problem, so what I did was look at the first picture from's page with this car seat.

I noticed where the straps went through the restraint systems, and remebered that I took the bottom ones out last, so I'd put them in first.

Then I threaded the straps through the buckle parts that snap to the bottom buckle, up through the buckle parts that snap together, then back through the holes in the cover and seat at whatever height your infant is. After that you secure it in the back like the sticker at the side indicates :)

I hope that's clear enough!

How to remove back seat on 1999 i30 plus backrest part

You need to remove the rear seat cushion to get to the holding bolts of the rear seat rest.
To remove the seat cushion, check under the front portion of the seat for any holding clips that if pulled or pressed will release the seat.
After removing the cushion, you would see a bolt on either side of the seat rest. Remove them and lift the seat upwards to dislodge it from the locking tabs behind it.

How do I Bend forward the back of the rear seats of a Nissan Pulsar 2014 to put the seat covers on?

Do not bend the rear seat back rests, they will never be the same again. On most (if not all) cars the rear backrests are bolted on by means of two bolts behind the seat, so first remove the seat (the bottom padding that keeps your backside from hitting the floor) by pulling the seat up. On some vehicles, the seat is bolted down with two 6mm bolts on either side. Once you have the seat out, you should see two bolts holding the back rest to the body of the car. Undo these, and the backrest comes off easily.
Now fit the seat covers and bolt the backrest back into place. It is not a difficult job, shouldn't take more than an hour or less.

How do I remove the back rest from the car seat as a car booster?

If your Ferrari seat is the same as ours, you'll see that the backrest is connected to the base with two plastic prongs that you can see from the bottom of the base. I separated ours by standing on the base and pulling the backrest towards me - it takes a bit of force so be careful...and after making sure all the harnesses are not attached to the bottom!

How to remove the rear seat

Rear seats are fastened in many different ways. On most cars, the base part of the seat is held in place by a metal snap going into a hole. To remove, pull on the front of the seat. Some cars have a metal or plastic tab that has to be pulled, pushed, or moved to the side, while pulling on the front of the seat. Other cars, mainly German, use bolts or screws in the front to hold the base of the seat. Many American car seats (GM) have a hook that fits into a metal brace. To remove the bottom part of the seat push hard towards the back and then up. Most Hondas use a bolt (10MM) on the back part of the seat between the bottom part of the seat and the back support (towards the middle) that has to be removed. Then the seat can be pulled up from the back. Before you pull on a seat, try to analyze what is holding it. Most seats do not need a lot of force to be removed, they all have a trick.
The back support on the rear seat is a bit more standard in the way it is fastened. At the top, there are 2, 3 or 4 pieces of metal that go into a hole. There are 2 or more bolts that hold the backrest at the bottom. Once you have removed the bottom part of the seat, take the screws or bolts out, and slide the back rest up and out. On a few cars you have to remove the rear deck and other side panels out first. If you can't figure it out, remove the panels in the other side of the backrest (trunk) and examine carefully how the seat is fastened.

Hope this helps, good luck!

I need to remove the back seat

The seat is in 3 parts. the 2 back-rest pieces and the actual seat part. You have to take the backrests off first (You know, the parts that fold down.) To do this you need to look at the seam where the two meet in the middle of the car. At the bottom there is a a pivot where the seat bends to fold down. On the piviot is a plastic clip between the seat-back and the pivot mounting bracket. use a needle nose pliers and pull off one for each side. the clips have a tab for easy removal. Once the clips are off slide the seat back toward the center of the car and it will fall out. put the seat backs in the trunk. Now you can see the bolt head on the seat part. It's behind the seats themselves. The carpet backing on the backrests was hiding it. Use a 10mm socket to remove the bolt. The seat tips/lifts forward and out. Just be careful once it's out. The big silver disk you see under there is your fuel tank access. The wires there are for power to your fuel pump and for the fuel guage on your dash. Don"t mess 'em up or your in for a world of problems.

Headrest pice (attached to the top of the back rest of stroller) has become unattached

We just fixed this issue tonight! We had to realign the bar (the silver bar you described) into the correct slots. One curve sits in the headrest piece, and the other curve slides into the seat back. If you hold the headrest in position, you should be able to see the slot at the same location as where the curve hits the seat back. Slide that curve into the slot from the side of the seat back.

Then align the 4 or 5 headrest tabs BEHIND the seat back, and the bar should position itself across all the "hinges". It takes a little force (or a flat head screwdriver) to push that bar back into the the "hinges", but once in it should work just fine.
