How to restore emachines E732ZG

If you have a disk in the dvd, remove it and try to start. If that fails press F8 while starting and see if you can start in safe mode. If that fails , you will need to insert an operating system disk , and when you get the disk info loaded on the screen, type fixmbr . Hopefully one of these will work

You don't need to access the BIOS to format your laptop. Put the Windows disk in the optical drive and then select format when you reach the correct prompt.

Was working on my laptop and the screen went black screen and shut down. then i went to power up and nothing black screen.

Open back cover of laptop then reconnect the battery and RAM memory. Make sure RAM memory is working fine. When you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or del or ALT +F2 key to enter in bios then load optimal defaults settings then check. IF you are not able to see bios setup or any display and after reconnect RAM and battery still not working then it is better to repair it at authorised service center because it has some motherboard related issue. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Will not reboot

Try rebooting the Laptop and as it is booting up,keep tapping the F2 key this should bring you into the system bios.
If you can get this far,,press F10 and save,,then as it is booting again press F10 again,,this should bring up a menu choice,,choose Safe start with networking.
If you can get this far you can go to "Start" "Programs" "Accessories" then "System Tools" Then "System Restore" from here you should be able to roll your computer back to a previous date.
