Question about Toshiba 14.0" L745-s4235 Satellite Led Laptop Core I5-2410m 6gb Ram 640gb Hdd
Most probably a password has been setup in BIOS to prevent unauthoirsed use.
You need the password, or you need to reset the BIOS. This is difficult in laptops as the case is hard to get into.
Also generally the battery needs to be removed/replaced in laptops, rather than opening and closing a jumper, as in a desktop pc.

Testimonial: "Resetting the password is definantly what I need to do however, i cannot get in to any usable data levels to do so... the removal of the battery (the little round one inside) does not do the trick either... If I knew where to find the jumper thats what I would focus on... but alas that info eludes me also"
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
