SOURCE: Acu-rite atomic clock squeaks periodically, why?

I had the exact same problem, and found the answer on the Chaney Instrument FAQ page. There's no real solution, but here is the explanation:
Q: My wireless weather station periodically beeps, why?
A: Make sure that any alert and/or alarm features are deactivated first. Constant, sporadic beeping is generally due to the unit’s ability to detect a foreign radio frequency of another wireless unit when that unit transmits a signal. Wireless devices that may cause beeping but are not limited to these devices are; scanners; computers w/wireless keyboard/mouse; or other wireless weather instruments. Essentially, any wireless devices transmitting on a radio frequency have the potential to interfere with each other. Limit the amount of wireless devices to lesson the chance of interference. When beeping occurs, one device will need to be deactivated.

SOURCE: I have a westclox atomic alarm clock - model #700...

I have the same alarm clock the damn thing gives me a heart attack when I wake up. All in all I have the instructions for your clock.

Simple on the back of the device there are five buttons hold down the one that is labeled mode/set then the display will flash use the oC|oF/Up key or Wave/Down key to change the keys and the mode/set the to move between each field.

If you press (not hold) the Mode/Set key you can change the alarm, change the numbers using the degreeC|DegreeF/Up or Wave/Down key to change numbers accordingly.

To turn the alram and snooze function on or off press the Alarm/on\off key.

What I just said may sound complicated but of you press the buttons as I told you then you should have no problems what so ever.

An atomic clock should set itself automatically using a time server. That is the whole idea.

How can I set the timezone on my Sentry self-setting atomic clock?

Many Sentry product manuals can be down loaded from the following URL
http://www.sentryindustries.com/support/manuals.asp
The instructions for Sentry CR104 is located at the following URL
http://www.sentryindustries.com/pdf/instructions/CR104_instructions.pdf
I have noticed sometimes the instructions tell you to use the ADJUST key.
If that does not work try the SET key sometimes it will work instead of the ADJUST key.
