Does your player support bluray's. If it does try installing new firmwares from samsung.

SOURCE: picture is shakey when plying

Doesn't sound like the tv. Do you have it hooked up to a cable box? It could be whatever you have it hooked to for your normal tv viewing. The cable box could be going bad.

SOURCE: I have sylvnia n8631slx blueray player it won't play my blue rays but it will ply reg dvds

It could be a dirty optical pickup or a bad one.

Blue rays are more particular about the pickup being dirty or even bad and will do exactly what you say here.

If cleaning does not resolve it will be cheaper to replace than repair.

Chances are that the games are not blue ray, try blue ray and standard, there are two lasers in the head, one of them might be bad.

Standard DVDSs are read by a red laser while blue ray DVDs are read by a blue laser (hence the name). The blue laser diode is likely to be faulty and therefore standard dvds work but blue ray dvds do not. This is not an easily obtainable or replaceable part.

Sony BluRaywon't play back disk

That is one of the problem with manufacturers that don't clearly explain the consumers that most of the blue ray dvd player is designed to play blue ray dvds &regular dvds, but it wasn't never designed to back any DVD-R or DVD-RW.
Sorry, there is no way around it,because Sony enjoyed being exclusive in many things.
