HI
YOU NEED TO REPAIR / REPLACE THE MAIN BOARD.
THE SUPPLY TO THE LCD PANEL CIRCUIT BLOCK MAY BE DEAD.
CHECK THE POWER SOURCE TO IT .WNA200 - SHARP CHIP FOR DEAD FUNCTION.
THIS SHOULD CURE THE PROBLEM , ELSE YOU MAY HAVE TO REPLACE THE BOARD!

SOURCE: Menu screen won't come up on screen

The "CONTROL KEY" may be set to "OFF".

In order to set the "CONTROL KEY" to "ON" without using the remote control unit, keep holding

down the ENTER button on the projector and press the MENU button for more than 2 seconds

I have some picture distortion - pink fuzzy color where white should be (like on hockey ice). I'm trying to determine if the t-con board is to blame and if I might fix it easily

Hi Bill.

I don't see a specific model for your TV, but have owned a rear projector system before. There is usually a sub-menu where you can do fine alignment of the Red, Green, and Blue projectors to get rid of the pink fringe. There is generally a white crosshair at center screen where you can fine align the three colors to get rid of the fringing, and sometimes an advanced menu where there are crosses all over the screen that you can individually select and fine tune, (tweaking the different optical distortions of the individual projectors to overlap).

If the fringe is a big swath instead of a fine edge, or if a color is totally gone, then you may be talking power amp issues. For fine fringes, the adjustments usually work fine.

Hoping that helps!

I have a Sanyo projector that shows a completely blue image - I can see the computer image but it is completely blue - Whet I press the menu button the normal colours come up for the menu

it sounds like the wire you are using to connect your PC to projector is bad

if color is normal when menu comes up then it is not projector unless the input for your PC is bad

i would try new cable first since that would be cheapest

do other sources in other inputs work???

Hitachi projector cp-s318 and the pictures give off a red tint.

Hi,

Make sure the Computer Input is set to VGA, Computer, or RGB (depending on which projector model you have). Go through the menu settings of your projector.

Hope this helps

I have audio and can bring up the menu but no picture

what input are you using? if you are using vga, the cable may be bad. if component, make sure the h and v are not switched around. if rgb, make sure the blue and green are not switched. the green carries the h+v info. if composite, check the video cable. if all else fails, you may need to replace the main board.

Infocus X1 picture freezes and dissapears and then comes on again

your display settings may be off, so change settings to factory reset and you may have to drop the resolution on your computer. you may also have a bad cable, so try a different cable.

Sony VPL-CS5 menu will not display

Give input signal to the projector and see that if the menu appears or not on the screen.
if menu comes on the screen then put the backgroung color to blue, instaed of black.

if nothing comes on the screen, then the LCD panels are faulty.

You may have inadvertently switched your projector to a different input mode, or the mhz refresh rate, etc., Jon.
