Shawn,
To help you better, we need the brand name and model of your microwave. Typically, if you have a small counter-top microwave you would probably be better off spending your money on a new microwave.

ALL BUTTONS DO NOT WORK AND THERE ARE RANDOM BEEPS - HOW DO I RESET THE WHOLE KEYBOARD?

It's not possible to reset it. You have a failing membrane keypad, and the only solution is to replace the keypad.

Since you didn't post the full model number with suffix, I can't give you a step-by-step answer, but I should be able to cover it all for you.

On some models, you order just the keypad itself. I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.

On other models, you order the control panel frame assembly, which comes with a new keypad already mounted on it. This costs more, but it's much easier.

There is a YouTube video here showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Then carefully detach the membrane keypad strip:

Some connectors have a lock.

Then you remove your board (carefully since the display is made of glass) then place your board in the new frame.

I recommend that you bookmark that link to your favorites.

Are you able to get a VFD separately for Maytag MMV4205BAW to repair dim display panel without doing the entire panel?

The VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) tube is not available as a separate part for this model, so you would have to order a new control circuit board.

For model MMV4205BAW, the board's Amana part number W10127098 and it runs a hefty $232.30.

BUT -
if you order the board by the original Samsung part number, you can probably get it a for a lot less.

Here is a photo of a similar board which is marked to show you where to find the full part number.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Once the controller is out, you disconnect the keypad, then take out your old board and put in the new one.

Whirlpool microwave/wall oven model # GMC275PDQ3 not working

see this steps and use the common sense NOT feared: unppluged the power cord:
Lights come on, but can not program unit, Touchpad dead If you have a stuck key or non-responsive key, most of the time you will have to replace the keypad for this microwave oven repair. If your keypad is connected to your control board by a flat ribbon wire, try disconnecting it and clean the silver contacts with an ordinary pencil eraser. After cleaning, plug it back in and try it. If it doesn't fix it, replace the keypad unit. Some units actually have keypad tests to confirm your diagnosis of a bad key.
If your keypad and control is the same unit, replace that unit. Another note, unlike stove/oven keypads and controls, most microwaves do not have error codes or tests to distinguish whether it is truely the keypad or control. Most of the time, it is the keypad that needs replacing, but a small percentage of the time it can be the control. Check the tech sheet if they can point you to the right part.
God bless you

Sharp Carousel Microwave - R1481 keypad doesn't work

No! I'am afraid not, the problem is in the keypad control board, the whole assembly must be replaced, the part alone will cost around $100.00 or more depending on make and model.

Microwave started beeping and shows F3. Light is on inside but when you touch buttons nothing happens.

F3 means you have a shorted membrane keypad.

Depending on the model number, you may have to peel off and replace the membrane keypad, or you may be able to replace the entire control panel frame, which has a new keypad already.

If you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

If you would like to have us do this repair for you, we do that for $39.95 plus part costs nationwide.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number from the tag on the unit) for more information & help.

The oven stays on and F2 appears in the display

You didn't mention your brand or model, but I'd guess that it's a Maytag, Whirlpool, or Kitchenaid, and that your membrane keypad has failed. "F2" is their code for a shorted keypad.

If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.

So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or at least leave the door open.

On some models, the membrane keypad is available as a separate part.

If you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.

On other models, you replace the control panel frame, which has a new keypad already attached. It's a pretty simple do it yourself job. Or we can do that for you, too.

I've got a model: JES1036PWH02.....when I plugged the unit in the internal light came on, the screen showed all eights and then in a few seconds shows a "PF" and NONE of the buttons work? How...

The keypad controller is defective, behind it there is the microprocessor ic mounted on a board with several other parts. The whole keypad and circuit board must be replaced, and the cost just for the part will run more than a new microwave.

Constant beeping

You have a shorted membrane keypad.

In some cases, just the membrane can be replaced. This is harder but cheaper. In some models, you have to replace the plastic frame, which comes with a new keypad. This costs more, but it a snap.

But it all depends on the model number.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number from the tag on the unit) for more information & help.
