For all optical disc players, the "No Disc" message indicates a problem with the lens tracking the data on the disc. If you have cleaned the disc and there are no scratches or it happens on multiple discs, the best solution is to replace the unit.

If the player is under warranty, contact Westinghouse. If your DVD player is built into a TV, try http://westinghousedigital.com/support/downloads/ for a manual.

Unfortunately, if the correct Dell cartridges are in place and fully seated, the cartridge missing message indicates that the sensor in the printer isn't correctly recognizing the cartridges. If you have used non-Dell cartridges or refilled cartridges, try new Dell cartridges and check for signs of ink leaking in the system. Some printers have a removable print head that can be cleaned or replaced. I'm not sure about this printer.

If the printer is under warranty, contact Dell.

How do I set up voice mail for my uniden 6.0 without answering system


If you do not have an answering system (answering machine) on the phone, you need to purchase a answering machine or contact your telephone service provider to get Voice Mail service from them. (Most charge $3-5 per month for voice mail.) The provider will tell you what number to call to set up a voice mail message and access messages.

The pictures on my tv keep fading out its a Sanyo 50 inch I only had it for a year n wanted to know it has a warnty on it


Most TVs have a 1 year warranty. You will need to check the exact purchase date if you are near the one-year date. If you are still covered by that one year warranty contact Sanyo promptly. The number to call is 1-800-877-5032; you will need to have the model number and serial number for your TV to get warranty service.

The one year warranty exists on the FVM5082 and the DP50747.

I keep getting the following error message: E6 F2 - what does this mean?


If you have a Whirlpool oven, the F2 E6 error means that the Cancel key line is open. You will need to replace the keypad or the keypad and controller board (if a single assembly) if the keypad doesn't respond to a press of the Cancel Key.

I have a 6-month old RS261 and when I put in a new filter and pushed "water" for more than three seconds to get the water back on, the red light did not change nor did any water come out. What...


Try holding it for a bit longer. On my fridge, it is hard to push the buttons on the fridge. Sometimes, letting someone else push and hold the button helps. (It's a matter of getting exactly lined up on the contact under the touchpad. So coming back later or letting someone else try has always worked.)

If the above doesn't work, check that the child lock is off. Press and hold the Energy Saver button for 3+ seconds to toggle the lock. If none of the buttons are responding, then the problem may be in the panel. (I refer the problem to a repairman. Membrane type touch panels don't respond well to the cleaning process that I learned for other electrical devices.)

Keep getting the error message "Printer not responding".


How are you connecting the printer to the computer? (USB, parallel, ethernet) Make sure there are no error messages/lights blinking and that the unit is on.

If you are using an USB cable, try a new cable. Also try a direct connection if you have a USB hub or print server in use. Make sure the USB ports are active (not disabled for power saving or security). Test the port with a known working device.

If you are using the parallel cable, make sure it is properly secured. Also try a new cable. Again try a direct connection instead of a print server.

If you are using an ethernet connection, again try a new cable. Check if your firewall is blocking communication with the printer. (Test this by temporarily turning off the firewall. If it starts working, make the printer a trusted part of the network. With some firewalls, you may need to unblock communication for both incoming and outgoing communication with the printer.)

What is replace color cpu toner?


Could the message have been "Replace color PCU (Type A)"? In that case, you need to replace all three color photoconductor units (order Printer Maintenance Kit Type 7100A).

I do not know of any Replace CPU error messages. I hope this helps.

Powers on but display does not function. Also repeated error message: ink system failure.


Try resetting the printer. Unplug both the power cord and the USB cable from the printer. Wait a while, then plug in the power cord. If the error message does not appear, plug in the USB cable.

If the message does return, the printer needs service.

I plug in the printer and the on/off button does not respond. Is there a button somewhere else that turns the machine on?


There is a hard on/off switch on the right side of the unit. It's about at the same height as the power socket but towards the front of the adjacent side.
