Sharp ER A320 cash register has lost settings. How can we get the settings back?

If the Sharp ER-A320 cash register has lost its settings after being unplugged and plugged back in, you may need to reprogram the register. Here are some steps you can follow: Consult the user manual: The user manual for the ER-A320 should have instructions for programming the register. If you don't have a physical copy of the manual, you can search for it online or contact Sharp customer support for assistance. Check the backup battery: The ER-A320 has a backup battery that helps to retain the programming in case of a power outage or unplugging. If the battery is dead or weak, it may have contributed to the loss of settings. You can check the battery and replace it if necessary. Reprogram the register: Using the manual or instructions provided by Sharp, you can reprogram the register with the necessary settings. This will likely involve resetting the register, entering your store information, setting up departments, programming PLUs, and setting up tax rates. Test the register: Once the programming is complete, you should test the register to make sure it is functioning properly. You can perform test transactions and ensure that the correct receipts are printed and that the totals are correct. If you are not comfortable reprogramming the register yourself, you can contact a Sharp authorized service center for assistance.

How do I change the batteries in my Carlon RC8800R doorbell

Do you need to replace the batteries in the chime button or the receiver? To change the batteries on the doorbell (chime button) for most Carlon models, you need a ballpoint pen first to remove the chime button from the back. Press the pen point in the small round hole at the bottom of the button. Then gently push in on the tab. Finally rotate the chime button cover up and away from the back cover. Next take the ballpoint pen or a small screwdriver and place it in the slot below the top battery. Lift the battery up. Repeat this with the second battery. Then place the replacement CR2032 batteries into the battery compartment one at a time with the positive side up.

For the most of the wireless receivers, press the center of the brass tubes and lift those free to replace the 4 D cell batteries (2 behind each tube). A few models have a more obvious battery cover for a set of 4 AA cell batteries.

Many Carlon wireless chime manuals are available here: http://www.lamson-home.com/WirelessChimes.php . The direct link to the manual listed for the RC8800R is http://www.lamson-home.com/ProductSupport/WirelessChimes/RC3304_4300IM_3.06_v2.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Remote control

My suggestion is to post the manufacturers name & model number of your remote, or search for the manufacturers support website > look for your model of remote > view/down load the instructions and code list for your universal remote. With the manual and manufacturers code list you shouldn't have a problem re programming it.
If it's not a universal? Then remove the batteries for a minute or two, then replace them and that should reset your OEM remote to the default settings, which hopefully will get it to work for you again.
Good luck
