SOURCE: iTouch won't connect to internet

I FIXED MINE THIS MORNING!!!

try this! If your iTouch says you are connected to your network but you can't surf and you've been able to connect in the past...you have to reset your network connections on your iTouch.

Go to Settings
Go to General
Go down to Reset
Go to Reset Network Settings
It will ask for your iTouch Passcode...enter it
Then, hit the red "Reset Network Settings"
After that, go back to "Wi-Fi" in Settings...
...and connect to your network again. It might ask you for your WEP password, if it does, enter it.
The IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router and DNS fields should now have entries in them.
Surf Away!!

Hope that works for you. It worked for me!!!

Well this could be caused by a few things, first update your flash player, see if that works. Also if you have an older computer or one with a small processor (like a net book ) dont have anything else running it might be to much for your processor and video card to handle.

SOURCE: the Netflix app on my

I had the same problem with my Vizio XVT473SV. I couldn't find the Netflix Activation Code. When I clicked on the Netflix App, the TV would ask me if I wanted to connect to Netflix, then it would ask me if I was a Netflix member. After clicking yes to both, it would tell me it couldn't connect to the Netflix server, check with Netflix.com/tvhelp. After a couple hours of troubleshooting, the solution was......your first use of the Netflix App has to be via the Ethernet Port/Cable. This will give you a screen with the Activation Code, after you activate the code in your Netflix account, you can go back to using WiFi on your Vizio TV to connect to Netflix. Step by step instructions are...
1) Exit the Vizio Netflix App.
2) Physically connect an Ethernet cable to your broadband (just temporarily)
3) Check to make sure the Vizio is using the Ethernet port and not your WiFi (Apps Button - HDTV Settings - Network...may have to reboot the TV to get Ethernet port connection)
4) Start the Vizio Netflix App
5) Click OK to start the Netflix App
6) You should now see a different screen that gives you the Netflix Activation Code.
7) On your Computer, Login in to Netflix,
8) Click on "Your Account & Help" link on upper right corner
9) Scroll down to Watching Instantly on your TV or Computer section
10) Click on Activate a Netflix Ready Device
11) Enter the Activation Code shown on your Vizio TV and click Activate
12) Once your Netflix account (on your computer) shows it is active, your Vizio TV will automatically log in. You should see your Instant Queue.
13) Exit the Netflix App, unplug the Ethernet cable, Turn Off your Vizio TV.
14) After 20 seconds or so (remember the TV is software driven), turn the TV back on and your WiFi should connect again.
15) Use your Netflix App and this time it should automatically connect via WiFi
note: just make sure that your wireless DSL/Cable Modem or Wireless Router is not blocking your WiFi connection request from the Vizio. You can check the connection status in the modem/router or in the Vizio in the HDTV Settings - Network.

MY WESTINGHOUSE 50" SMART TV WILL CONNECT TO WIFI BUT WONT UPLOAD NETFLIX OR STREAM MY SPECTRUM TV

Some Smart TV remotes require you to use the keypad to spell out letters, just like on phones. Pressing the "2" button once gives you "A", twice gives you "B", three times gives you "C", pressing the "3" button once gives you "D" and so on. See if that works. If not, you need to connect a keyboard to your Smart TV to enter the information.

Hi, I have a bush smart TV which came with a dongle. We have very fast internet speeds. When we go on Netflix etc it connects fine but after about 30 mins or so the connection becomes delayed and...

A dongle... There's your problems right there as to why the internet is lacking. Look on your tv for an ethernet port or check in the tv menu for a wifi option.

wifi will be easy and no cords, but wired with an Ethernet cable sometimes brings better speed and more reliability..

Cannot connect to netflix on our sony tv

1. are you within range of your WIFI?
2. check your network settings. are you connected to WIFI?
2. How strong is the signal?
3. How fast is the internet in your house? Should be greater than 6Mb/s (at least) for streaming Netflix.
4. Can you use other smart features?
5. Did you input the correct username and password for Netflix? Try on your computer or another device.
6. Maybe you need to activate your TV from another device by visiting netflix.com/activate and entering a code that is on your TV.

Good luck!!

I was given Netflix (stream-in) for a gift, but can not get it to come onto our tv. Please help.

Your TV must be a 'smart' TV i.e. it should have software enabling it to connect to the internet and access features such as Netflix. If you don't have a 'smart' TV then you can purchase a set top box which can be connected to your TV and will allow you to access on-line services such as Netflix. If you have a 'smart' TV then you still need to connect it to your internet router, either with an Ethernet cable or via WiFi if the TV has WiFi built in (or you can buy a WiFi adapter for the TV). If you connect with an Ethernet cable then the TV will connect to your router (and internet) with no further setup. If you use WiFi then you will need to access the WiFi settings menu on the TV and configure the settings for your router.

How do i get the internet connection on the wii to get netflix

Sorry to hear your having problems with your wii. You can connect the wii via wifi or wired with an adapter. Check out Nintendo's tutorial for instructions on how to do this:
http://us.wii.com/connect/

You basically goto:
Wii Options at the bottom left corner of your home screen, then Wii Settings, Click the right arrow to goto the next page, Click Internet, Click Connection Settings, Click Connection 1, Click Wireless Connection. Click Search for an Access Point. Click OK to view the found access points. Select the Access point for your wireless internet, enter your encryption key, click Ok and then OK again to save settings, and then OK again to test the connection.

Once you have set up your wifi connection you can download the netflix channel from the wii shop channel for free. Then you can follow the on screen instruction when you launch the netflix channel to watch netflix on your wii.

As long as your Wii can detect the "network" in your house, you can connect to the internet, and hook up to netflix wirelessly. Start your Wii and go to "wii options" in the lower left corner. Then click on Wii settings and then scroll to page two. Then click on "INTERNET". You will then go to Connection settings. From there choose wireless and let it find your router. You will need to enter the "passphrase" for the router, to connect. SAVE your settings and each time you start the Wii it will automaticly connect.
