Try to take to your friendly Auto parts store, they may read the ECU error codes for you, which is the first thing I would do. I have found that corrosion on Sensor connections do funny things to the fuel delivery system (ECU). Yesterday I had knock sensor error. Had a devil of a time to remove the connector, but once off I cleaned with electronic contact spray, a toothpick and scraped spade connectors with a blade to bright metal. Cleared code and wala, Fixed. 20 yr old car. Salt areas are probably a lot worse.
