You need to clean the duct, check if there is flow, best done outdoors and with pressure air hose...

remove filter unit, put it to pieces and blow air in reverse, this will clean the filter unit.

blow now air in reverse through the hole towards the belt, will raise heaps of dust but will clean the fan as well as the duct.

if cleaning do not help - remove cover and check the fan, it is possible that bigger particle broke wings or that they just wear off, you need then to replace the wings.

hope this will help you - we do that several times a year with our sanders.... do not forget to vote :-)

Kobalt 10 saw blows dust everywhere ,even with a 2 shop vac connected to the dust chute .

It is possible that the dust chute on the Kobalt saw is plugged, not allowing the vacuum to pick up the dust. Run a rod through the dust tube and see if that clears it.

Why is my Dirt Devil Vacuum Hose lacking suction?

I have a Dyson and was having a similar problem some time back. I found out these bagless systems still have a filter that picks up the fine dust to keep it contained. Find out where yours is located and beat the dust out of it really good or just replace it.
Hope this helps.

Husqvarna partner 750 concrete saw wont start

You need to make sure it is mechanically sound, has the piston picked up on the exhaust side? does it have enough compression? is there signe of concrete dust on the inside of the air filter and filter houseing?there are many after market carb gasket sets, some have a small hole missing from the diaphram and gasket on the metering side, this activates the compensator, this needs to be there as the metering cover has no breather hole in it.

It will not **** in cleaner soap

Your heading is for chain saws but going by your problem I'll assume you are having problems with your pressure washer. The most likely reason your washer won't draw the soap into the water stream is you are using one of the high pressure tips, usually red, white or yellow. The only way the soap system will work is if you use the low pressure, soap tip which is black. Another thing to check is the soap line and pickup filter to make sure they are clear and allow the solution to be picked up.

142 chain saw. Starts but will not pick up when

Remove, clean and reinstall the muffler and spark arrestor, if no better the "L" needle may need adjustment.
Carburetor Adjustment by
  • CW is leaner; to lean will destroy the saw. If over tightened closed (CW) the adjustment screw faces are easily marred; marred adjustments are difficult to impossible to set properly.
  • Clean the air filter; adjusting with a dirty filter can cause a run lean condition once cleaned and the saw run.
  • Clean the spark arrestor and muffler; if the saw cannot exhale it cannot inhale.
  • There are 2 wav (sound - idle & full - may not be highlighted) files that I find most helpful, I think you will too.
Most chainsaws die because they are are run lean. I am going to inject a little Lou theory here. Air leaks and defective fuel delivery systems account for most chainsaw failures. Constant adjustment of needle valves can easily camouflage more serious problems that result in burning up your saw.

tile dust collects in the cast iron housing that the tip screws into. A sewing needle will help after you remove the guard to clear the orifice from both directions and then flush until desired effect is achieved.
