SOURCE: i have a pioneer DEH-P3000

Hi nhmteam. I have the solution for you: 1. With your DEH-P3000 turned off, press your FUNCtion button. It's a tiny button towards the upper right of the faceplate. Hold it down until you "ALARM OFF" or "ALARM ON" on the display. Release the button. 2. Press the FUNCtion button again and you should see another feature. I don't remember how many features you need to cycle through, but keep releasing and pressing the FUNCtion button until you see "M-CD ON" on the display. If you miss it just keep going and eventually it will come back. 3. On the right side of your faceplate there is a button with 4 arrows. You will need to push the up or down arrow until the display reads "M-CD OFF". If your display already reads "M-CD OFF", kip to the next step. 4. Press and release the FUNCtion button again and you should see "AUX OFF" on the display. Again press the up or down arrow until the display reads "AUX ON". 5. Now, turn on your unit, then press the INPUT button until the display reads "AUX". You are now ready to use your iPod in the way you always did. Keep these instructions for the future since I believe every time you disconnect the unit from the battery the unit will reset itself and disable your iPod cord. Best regards - TomR

No sound on AM/FM but Sirius is fine

I would look at the antenna connections ... you will need to remove the unit from the dash to get to the back of the radio. [Google removal of that specific radio for your vehicle]. You may be able to get your hand up under some dash boards to reach the back of radio?

The antenna conception is typically a round coax conductor that goes to a plug into the back of the radio.

Try moving the plug around while radio is on ... if you get signal pull out connector and clean contacts with rubbing alcohol. Test again and reinstall.

Hope this helps!

Our turntable is not producing any sound even though we have changed the speakers

Be sure the audio-out leads are connected properly to the receiver. They usually will work ok connected to the aux. plugs. Be sure the selector on the front of receiver is set to aux as well. Check the cartridge output wires to insure they are connected to the cartridge ok. If you have the receiver powered up and have the proper settings on the front of the receiver, you should get a little static sound when plugging the audio output leads into their respective input jacks on the receiver.

While playing a cd it skips to aux I have to scroll down to cd to keep it playing

Either the "mode" switch on the handlebar is vibrating or there is an issue with the auto detect circuit in the aux section of the radio. Check the bar switch first. If that is good, radio will need to be repaired.

06 and newer...contact Iron Cross Audio
05 and older...contact Radio Sound.

What happened with this unit, I mean it gives me sound on fm or am, however on cd, usb, aux option does not, even though it displays in the screen it is playing.

It sounds like it could be the sound chip. If your fm/am radio is playing sound then the internal amp is fine however CD/AUX functions use a separate sound chip. Have you wired it to an external amplifier?

I have a 6 CD Changer but dont know how to use it?

This is an older way that makers of CD changers used to get CDs into cars that didn't have them.  This is what they tried to get people to by them.  I was never a fan of this system as the sound quality was never better than listening to FM radio.  There is a unit in the car, usually under the dash behind the glove box, that the CD changer is plugged into.  This unit has the FM antenna from the car plugged into it, and then a cable that is the same as that coming from the antenna going from the unit under the dash plugged into the FM antenna jack of the radio in the dash.  All this unit does is take the digital, high quality sound from the CDs, transmit it on an FM frequency (usually low on the FM band 80s, 90s or low 100s) and then you tune the radio into that FM frequency to get the sound form the CDs.  Problem is, the sound quality was only as good as FM radio.  A pretty poor way of getting CDs into cars.  But they sold millions of these things.  If it isn't working, the wiring may have come loose, the fuse to the unit under the dash might be blown, or something is disconnected.  if you go all through the FM dial, 0.1 at a time and don't hear it, it is time to get under the dash near the glove box and poke around.  Good luck.  If it were me, I would take all this gear out and put a new CD/MP3 player where the factory radio currently sits.
