SOURCE: mackie swa 1801 power amp

You likely have other parts blown as well, but Q3 (MJE15033) AND/OR r8 (1 OHM/0.5 Watt) are blown. I suspect that Q3 has a base-collector short and you will find several of the output transistors are fried as well Q4, Q5, Q15, Q16. I suspect that the Zeners D14, D25 may be blown.

When restarting this, put a 100 Watt lampin series with teh 120 volt power to limit current and avoid destroying freshly repaired parts due to a few bad ones not found.

The OL and THERMAL LEDs turn on quickly after an even very low level signal input.

These subs are renowned for problems. The PSU and the output stages as well as the main driver are all weak and there are a number of companies that will upgrade them and sort out other issues such as vibrations. Assuming it is out of warranty and you really want to use this you would be best going to a specialist repairer to get it sorted not Mackie.

Hi sorry it was mackie srm 1801 works fine on A out put can I use for time all is working well

Yes, you can use the A output, as long as you're OK with it being a mono system. It may be helpful to read the manual which has a lot of info including possible setup configurations. Here's a link-

It is likely that the O/P transistors have blown, especially if the fuse keeps blowing and the O/L led comes on. It's a repair shop jobbie

Where is the fuse on the mackie 1801.....there is no fuse tray at the power cord plug....

There are more than one fuse and they are internal. Replacing the fuse without fixing the cause MAY result in causing more damage to components. The fuse is inside to force one to open the box to repair.

Here is schematic:

Dont know how to hook up srm1801

Go from the main outs on your mixer to the input on the 1801. With an XLR, connect the 'high pass' output on the 1801 to the input on the 450 on top of it.

Willing to bet you've blown the amp, or fused the coil. I've had it happen twice, apparently when running off a power source that apparently couldn't handle the load. Hope it's under warranty - if so Loud Technologies (deals with all Mackies warranty stuff) should be able to replace the unit. Otherwise, you'll need to take it in to a service department and have it checked out.

Good luck, you'll have to arm wrestle with them to get them to replace it.
