Hi, Thanks for using fixya.
First unplug any other USB devices / hubs from your computer. Reboot the computer with the transcent in a usb port. Check to see if you can use it when it boots back up.
If not :
1. Right click on My Computer choose manage. On the left side make sure storage is expanded double click disk management on the left upper side see if transcent is listed.
2. If it is on the lower part find your transcent right click on it choose change drive letter and paths. Click on change, you will see a drop down arrow click that choose the first available letter, Now click on change. Open My Computer see if it is now listed.
3. Reboot your computer when it comes back, open My Computer see if it is now listed.
I will take a guess and sday your device maybe defective meaning no way to recover your files.
If you have any further questions regarding this matter feel free to post a comment or if you are satisfied with my answer, please give it a rating for this is the reason I do this work.

- Synching with Outlook.
- Error message: 'The parameter is incorrect'.
Generally, this error message indicates that the configuration process has been cancelled at some point. Typically, this happens due to cancelling the setup process on the Outlook Folders tab. If you are on Exchange folder, this tab can take several minutes to populate.
In order to correct the problem you are experiencing, you will need to delete or rename the .ini file and then reconfigure CompanionLink/DoubleLook. This file is typically found in one of two locations:
c:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\CompanionLink\CompanionLink
c:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\CompanionLink\DoubleLook
Please note that Application Data is a hidden folder and that the .ini file extension is hidden by default. Please see http://www.companionlink.com/support/howto/ht0017.html for an explanation of how to display all files.
Hope this helps
