Assuming the screen is physically cracked, you need to obtain a new screen, remove the screen bezel by popping off the rubber caps and undoing the screws under them. The screen is fixed into position by two rails with small screws holding it into place. Remove these and the screen will be freed. Disconnect the VGA cable and the smaller two wire plug that connects the inverter to the screen, replace the new screen and re assemble
