Does it work on the other HDMI inputs? If so then you will need to replace the MAIN PCB

External Input Mode (for VCR features) To receive the signal from an external input (decoder, satellite receiver, video camera, another VCR etc.), connect to the AV2 (DECODER) socket, and enter "002" with numerical key pads to appear "AV2" on the TV screen. If you use the AV1 (TV) socket, enter "001" with numerical key pads to appear "AV1" on the TV screen. If you use the front AUDIO/VIDEO input jacks, enter "003" with numerical key pads to appear "AV3" on the TV screen.

Explain could not run it's TV please? Are you saying you cannot connect the laptop to a TV?

Have you selected PC or HDMI as your input source on the TV? Have you hit the FN Function Key on the laptop + the corresponding F1 thru F12 key that displays the image on the TV?

Press and Hold the FN key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that displays on the tv. The correct F1 thru F12 key will probably have LCD/CRT on it or it might have the icon of a display.

How to hook my ns230e to my hdtv

Looking at the spec for that model - you only have a VGA output On you HDTV do you have a VGA input for PC connection, often HD TV do - if not then we will need the make and model of the TV and type of connections available - also need to check the grahics driver on the laptop to see if it supports TV out via VGA if its to be connected to a different input on the TV anyway LETS ASSUME YOU HAVE A VGA input on the TV TV:- probably has a PC input - which is a VGA connector looks like this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/92/SVGA_port.jpg and then you select PC input on the TV to display whats connected to that port Laptop: - Now on the laptop, you will need to select the VGA output to work - there will be a picture of a screen on one of the F keys at the top of the keyboard, F4, F5 normally on laptops, My Sony uses F7 ---- (assuming F7) use the FN key and the F7 key together it will then toggle between the following <laptop only><laptop and VGA output><VGA output only>

Connecting Sony Vaio to Samsung TV

Hello,
The problem is the cable. Those converter cables rarely work. they can't translate the scan rates properly. You need a converter box for the video signal, and get a cable to plug into the headphone jack on the laptop to send sound to the audio input on the TV. Here's a link to an example of the type of box you need to get the video working.

Hope this helps!

You may have it on the wrong input channel to receive the television signal. You should check what input you have selected on you remote control. It should be set to television to receive the television. signal. If you are using another source to input the signal to you television check that remote and make sure it has the proper setting to watch the television. For help with your problem you can to the Sony website. www.sony.com and go to the support section and put in the model number of you television and check the frequently asked question and the troubleshooting sections to see this this problem has occured to someone else and has been answered. The service number for Sony televisions is 239-768-7547. I hope this helps you with your problem.

Want to connect my Sony vaio VGN-A250 to Sharp 19'' LCD TV

Your laptop will have a VGA output or possibly a S-video out. For the VGA you'll need a standard VGA cable. Plug the cable in to your laptop and the PC input of your TV. If your TV does not have PC input it may have a DVI input. IF it does you can use a VGA/DVI adapter to plug it in. If it doesn't have a DVI input you can use the S-Video output on your laptop with a standard S-video cable. After the connection to your TV is made you will have to toggle alternate display by pressing and holding your [Fn] key and pressing F4, or F5, or another F# key. It's the one that looks like a TV screen. Press once to turn on output, press again to turn off your laptop screen, press again to go back to laptop screen only

Sony a/v reciever not sending video to tv.....

I don´t know if I´ve understood, but the best way to "pass" video signals to TV through receivers is using a stereo VCR, where you plug in any antenna. Then you connect VCR´s audio and video channels to the receiver. Turning on all equipment, select video1 source. You will hear sound through the system and watch video signal on TV. Hope this may help.

HDMI ON ILO 32HD

it sounds like there is a problem with either the output on the PS3 or the input on the circuit board of the TV. I would try a reset on the PS3 first. Also make sure that there are no other video or audio cords plugged into the PS3 because this will cause the PS3 not to send the signal via the HDMI.
