Something could be blocking the solenoid valve that allows water to drain. You need to get into the guts and disconnect the hose.

How to descale?

Make a mixture of half white vinegar and half water (preferably soft water) 6 to 8 oz and run it through your machine. Let It run part way through with a new filter in place, then shut off the machine and let it sit for a while. The vinegar is dissolving the lime scale. Keep starting and stopping until you have run all the mixture through. Next, run at least 2 full pots of fresh water through to wash out the vinegar.

Whirlpool dishwasher 6th sense, F9 flashing inthe indicator box, what does this mean?

based off what you described i know exactly what is wrong, the water inlet valve is stuck open, this is a small valve that opens to let water into the machine however it should close again when there is no power to it, if it keeps letting water in with the power off the valve is jammed open and you will need to replace it, should be a rather cheap job

The water keep flowing out when it is on. Why?

This is what we call a syphone effect //locate the drain hose at the back of the machine and lift it up it is more than likely laying too low to the ground the hose should come out the machine and up about half way to the top of the machine then into the drain out let set hose like this and you shpuld have no more free flow of water

I let the water tank run empty by accident and now the machine keeps making a loud cracking/clicking sound which is intermittent whlist it is warming up. Have I done permanent damage?

It is possible that the elements got damaged, but try this fill tank let machine cool about 2 hours, then turn on and open the hot water valve and run about half the tank through, then descale machine.

2 problems 1st is the washer continues to fill with water when i put in a new load second is it wont spin

If the water keeps filling without cutting off, you either have a faulty inlet solenoide or your pressure hose and or pressure switch needs checking.

To isolate the acutal problem, start the machine on a new cycle. Change the water level to minimum or low before you start. Let the machine fill up. Keep checking the water intake as it fill up. Once the water level goes over the half way mark in your tank, if the machine starts its wash action then your pressure hose and switch are o.k. as they have signalled to the timer that the water level selected, has been reached.

However if the machine keeps filling up even though the wash action has started, then you have a faulty inlet solenoide/valve. Turn off water at the tap and get the valve replaced.

My saeco s-class incanto sirius machine keeps say replace water filter & ventilate even after I replaced filter

Sounds to me that water is not getting to the pump. Try charging the water filter before using by letting it sit in some water for about 5 mins.

Hoover 200m, keeps letting water in, will not advange to wash cyc

Your outlet hose is too low at the back of the machine tie the hose at about the level as your inlet hose eg to where your inlet hoses are festened and then let the remainder of the hose go to your outlet as usual.that should work Kind Regards Stefan.

Aw850 washing machine

Hi, Is the water clean or dirty? If it is clean then your water valve in side the machine is letting by and will need replacing. If it is dirty water then it is coming in from the sink trap if it is connected by this method, Or it is to far down the stand pipe and is coming back in via it.
Let me know....
