So Basically, I can't change inputs on my TV (also RCA). When I press the input button, the Picture changes (Brightness, Contrast, etc. changes presets). Any help on this? Thanks in advance.

Try by set the remote control with an other code said for your RCA TV. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Ok, so I tried some other methods. Still not working. When trying the direct code entry, none of the RCA codes worked...

Only other thing I can think to try is fresh batteries.

    Didn't work either.

Check the picture settings like brightness, sharpness, contrast and color. Change input device to something you know works for sure. Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks. If problem persists, it might need attention by a qualified service technician.

How to increase the brightness on my Toshiba serial #472011022k?

Every laptop is different, so adjusting the brightness or contrast on your laptop may vary from the steps provided on this page. However, understanding the process of how to adjust the brightness or contrast will help you change your settings.
Most laptops adjust their brightness and other settings using the function key in conjunction with another key. For example, pressing and holding the function keyjhay_torida_0.jpg (abbreviated as "Fn") and pressing the up or down arrow key as shown in the picture below, increases and decreases the brightness.

Hi, I bought an aquos lc-30hv4u and it has no rca jack etc, only two plug ins labled display input 1 and 2. I am guessing its just a pc monitor. How would I use it for cable tv video games etc

There are lots of inputs on the back behind the cover. Three inputs (1, 2, 3) have an S-video, composite video (A/V) and component video jacks. The cover will come off if you press the two top hook at the top of the cover. Then rotate the cover towards you. There are also a DVI-D port and 2 coax (antenna in) jack. The tuners included are for NTSC (analog OTA) and CATV (analog cable). The front of the PC (VGA) and a S-video or composite (A/V) video input (called Input 4).

Composite and component video jacks are all RCA jacks (as are the associated audio jacks for the input). Composite cables uses three RCA plugs on each end - yellow for video, red and white for Right and Left audio. Component video cables have three plugs on each end that just carry video (red, blue and green); the audio is wired separately with just 2 RCA red/white plugs. Match your colors from the device out to the TV input.

Changing inputs can be done with the remote or the input button on the top of the TV. The input button is to the left of the power and Main Power buttons.

Connecting your game system, cable system and all will depend on the units. For the best picture, use component video cables for mose set top box. Some cable boxes have a DVI port - use that if the box has that option. If they do not have component video out, then use composite or S-video cables.

The owner's manual is available from Sharp as a pdf: http://www.sharpusa.com/CustomerSupport/ProductDownloads.aspx?downloadtype=ownersmanual . Use the drop down menus as follows > LCD TV, Model not listed, LC-30HV4U then click Search. The picture of the inputs are on page 10.

I hope this helps.

Troubleshooting vcr

Usually one connects a RF [cable tv, Dish tv, antenna ] cable to the INPUT of VCR & a RF cable output to tv (antenna )INPUT .The reason is that if you are watching TV reception (Cable, Dish, etc) and you want to watch VCR tape, just push the tape in and it should start playing picture.
From what I understand that you are trying to say:: [ YOUR NEW TV ! ] you MUST connect to the RCA jacks, CABLE S with RCA plugs that come out of the VCR to the new TV [ INPUT & OUTPUT] jacks .When you ["" use input botton on VCR remote"" ] you are using a DIFFERENT input signal. You are not letting the TV know that you are changing the signal from RF(antenna, Cable, Dish, etc)to the RCA signal ["" I use my input botton on my vcr remote""]
