Headphones stopped working suddenly. New batteries so that is not the problem

The transmitter is connected to a Samsung TV and has worked for a couple of years without fault. A pulsating noise alerted me to failing batteries which I changed but a short while later all went quiet, neither the volume nor tuning control on the headphones produced any sound whatsoever.

Thank you Ty Dodge for you answers but I cannot return the headphones as they are over two years old.

Don't understand what you meant by "wait and see if it gets a charge on the port" The transmitter is plugged into the mains for power and the green light is on. Just zero sound from the head phones.

this is extremely hard to fix and most likely the wire running to one of the buds twisted too much and broke...

its a really common thing for the cheap headphones.

I think that the best way is to take it to the manufacturer or throw them out and get a new one.

I have HDR65/RS65 Sennheiser wireless headphones. I disconnected them to move stuff around, then re-connected them. Now all I get is a 2 second cycle consisting of: 1 second of static that builds in...

Try connecting them to an MP3 player or connect wired headphones to the same source to make sure the sound source is working correctly. If that works, verify the voltage on the batteries is 2.4 volts after charging. Mine stopped charging fully and the headphones wouldn't work at all, but when I connected a couple of AAA batteries to it in series, it worked great.

If your headphones are in warranty (under a year old) Bose will repair or more likely replace them with a new pair. I am now on my forth pair or Bose in-ear headphones and experienced the same problem with an ear piece stop working. I have to say Bose customer service has been fantastic and has replaced each pair. Every new pair is then covered by a new full years warranty. Unfortunately my fourth pair has just gone wrong with the same connector problem. Bose again have said they will replace as they are in warranty. I have been told if they are out of warranty they will offer a new pair at a discount price of £50 instead of £80. However i think that if my new pair go wrong out of warranty i will have no option but to look at alternatives.A Pair of headphones that cost £80 should last more than a year!!!

Mine is a bit older (2yrs), but I have exactly the same problem. Absolutely no sound from the headphones (no beeps). I also tried new batteries, but still nothing.

Hi, They suddenly stopped working, think I

Try another speaker set.
If this does not fix it, then consider the sound card if it is removeable, get a new one. If it is internal, turn off the sound and install a sound card.

Headphones cut in and out - distorted sound

Dance_to_it -
I have had these great headphones over 15 years (I think!)
1. Are the batteries getting a full 8 hour charge?
2. Have you tried all 3 channel options?
3. Is there anything else close by that is an RF transmitter or receiver? If so, move the headphone base or other RF instrument away from each other.
4. If these are the original batteries you probably need new ones.
5. When purchasing new batteries I recommend original equipment Sennheiser BA151 batteries, not any other brand. I have tried 3 or 4 other brands, all with less than satisfying results. I have no affiliation with Sennheiser corp., just a consumer of their products (and Grado's for wired headphones)
Good luck!

Noise concelling head hpones

Same here, my QC 3's stopped working, bought a new battery and nothing happened. Called Bose 1-877-210-3782 followed the prompts for "english" and "headphones". My QC 3's are 3 years old and out of warranty. Bose agreed to replace the headphones for $75 with free shipping. Better than paying a few hundred. Replacement set will have 1 year warranty.

My set has an led that glows red when on...if batteries in correctly, and switch on...do you have a red "POWER" indicator. If yes, & still no sound, 1-does the other set work? 2- either side of prob set work? 3-VOLUME up all the way? Could be bad receiver/bad speaker(s) bad vol switch.
IF no POWER led on, then 1-bad batteries 2-bad power switch 3-broken internal power lead/wire.
Kids are rough on these things...any sign was dropped, or dunked in a coke? REMOVE ear cushions are screws if yur inclined.... sk
