Whatever your system is, try turning it off for 30 minutes. See if that works. Hope I helped.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: games will not load ps3
here is one of the best answers that I ran across in the past about said issue.
this is what i would do :
First of all, try playing all of your games and see if its just one disk or ur ps3, following that i would say u put in a blu-ray movie and check if that works, if it doesn't, then u are in serious trouble ( not really!). Get a USB Memory Stick( u know one of those little things u plug in a computer and can save all of ur stuff in) save ur important stuff. and then after that reset ur system settings, u can do that by:
Settings> System Settings> Restore System Settings
after that try it and if it doesnt work, go again to system settings but this time around, go to restore ps3 system, u can do that by:
Settings> Sysem Settings> Restore PS3 System.
it should be noted that all of ur stuff will be deleted, so i hope u saved all of ur game saves on that usb flash stcik thing.
if it doesnt work then do the following:
SCEA Consumer Services
Monday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST
Sunday 7:00 - AM 6:30 PM PST
and tell them about ur problem, they will tell u to restore system settings or restore ps3 system, and thats what i told u, if it doesnt work, they will ask for ur adresss ( i hope u live in North America) and will ask u ur email, phone number and all that. After that they will send u a box( takes around 4-5 business days for the box to get to ur house, but it really matters where u live) and u put ur ps3 in that box, send it back, and then they will fix it, if they cant they will either send u a refurbished ps3 which is someone elses ps3 but dont worry its as good as brand new or if not, they will send u a new ps3. which will take sbout 4-5 business days, and again depends on where u live!

Sounds Like the graphics chip is starting to go. Try CPR in NYC. They usually have a 1-3 day turnaround time, and are pretty cost effective. You can easily ship them your unit. They are faster and cheaper than Sony.
website is www.cpr-nyc.com
Hope it helps!

try a lens cleaning disc.it work for me for a while.if it dont work ,go on ebay and order a t8 screwdriver.when u have it look on you tube to see how to take off the casing on your xbox..remove all the screws.once done remove the otherside of the outer covering.then remove the metal shell of the top, which will expose the inside of your console. disconnect the 2 leads that go into your drive.ps try not to scrape the mother board.remove drive carefully, take out the 4 crews and carefully pull the casing apart.next get a hair dryer.(cool setting) and blast all the dust from everywhere.get a cotton bud and use the weight of it to gently wipe any remaining dust from your lens.then blow on it..put casing on drive again and reconnect leads.and place back in original place.plug console in ,turn on and insert game.test it,and it should boot the game up straight away.
if its ok .put the rest of console back toghether properly and your good to go. it took me 20 mins to do then it worked first time every time.trust me.it works.
