On my APPLE the MAC OS driver depicts the toner levels when I check the printer status under the settings and preferences - printers icon - supply levels is an optional choice. I have not found a way to check the levels on an XP system.

SOURCE: What does the error code
The problem is with the Fuser thermistor. The thermistor detects & heats the fuser temperatures. When this error comes up it means that the fuser thermister is not function corretly.
Unfortunatly it cant be reset so it will have to be replaced.

Usually caused by a sticking density sensor solenoid and can easily be repaired.
Remove the rear cover
Remove the fuser
Remove the Hi Voltage PCB
Check the angled density sensor window for sticking. When you move it, it should spring right back. If it hesitates at all, repair the solenoid.
Remove the old foam and replace it with adhesive labels.
Reassemble machine and test.
