Error 49 in HP LaserJet 100 color mfp m175a

HP printer error 49:
Error 49 is 'Firmware Error'.
Firmware is the built-in software on the printer's electronics.
In layman's language, your printer's brain has become confused.
Here are several steps you can try, to hopefully clear the error:
[th]Cancel Print Job[/th]
[th]Cancel via printer menu and via Windows' Control Panel, to make sure.[/th]
Turn Printer Off
Power it OFF, then ON again.
Try reprinting, to test if error has gone.
Try Different App
In case the application is corrupt or non-compatible, try printing from other software program.
Try Different File
In case the file is corrupt or non-compatible, go back to your original application and try printing another file.
Upgrade Driver
If you find that only certain files or apps cause problems, upgrade the printer driver to the latest version.
Upgrade Firmware
If the driver upgrade does not give you any joy, a firmware upgrade may be necessary.
Refresh Entire System
Failing all of the above, an entire refresh / reboot may be necessary:
Freshen Up
Turn printer OFF. Pull all printer-connected cables OUT. In Win Control Panel / Devices, DELETE Print-Queue. Switch OFF computer. REBOOT computer and printer. RECONNECT cables. Try PRINT again.
Clean Computer Registry
In addition to the 'Freshen Up' steps, a registry cleaner application can clear software junk or old settings that may be causing a conflict. 360 Amigo Speedup does the job well.
Remove EIO Devices
Certain hard-drives, cards, etc are EIO * devices. Identify then REMOVE all of these, and see if problem vanishes.
Re-install EIO Devices
Plug in the EIO devices again, one at a time, rebooting and testing printer each time until one causes the error.
Still failing, all EIO devices removed?
The memory cards (DIMMS), aka 'Dual-Inline-Memory-Modules' of the printer itself may be damaged or corrupt.
Remove Printer DIMMS
Turn printer OFF. Remove all DIMMS (memory and 3rd party if any) from the printer. DO NOT remove the FIRMWARE DIMM. Printer will CEASE to function!
Try DIMMless analysis
Turn printer ON. If error 49 remains, RENEW the FIRMWARE DIMM. If this doesn't work, RENEW the formatter module. May require qualified personell.
Test for faulty DIMM
Turn printer OFF. Re-insert each DIMM, one-by-one, switching ON then testing error each time, then OFF for next one.
Faulty DIMM found - NOW what??
If one of the installed DIMMS re-creates the error, RENEW the DIMM with a new one.
Hookup everthing again
Once all tests have been done, restore all printer / computer cables to the way they were before, for normal operation.
* EIO
No, NOT vowels of the alphabet. In this case it's an acronym for Electronic Input Output device
In fact, the above steps can apply to any printer, as well as many other computer peripherals.
Causes of the error can vary, including but not limited to:
electronic failure, power surges, strong EM fields, static, corruption, etc.
First, if you don't have one already, suggest you invest in a socket or multiplug outlet with a built-in 'Surge-Arrestor'.
A good, updated AV is also a necessity to safeguard against cyber-attacks (see corruption above).

TD-W8901G issue after upgrade to V6

I'm an electrical and electronic engineer (Iranian and Persian native speaker) that had the same problem,exactly my modem went to death (just power LED is ON) after upgrading from version 3 to 6 and I have precisely similar TP-LINK TD-8901G ADSL2+ router but I found a great "step by step" tutorial in a Russian website(in their forum) which contributed me significantly;
I hope it might help you too.
