Make sure the cds are the right way up.
Try listening to the cd mech to determine if the cds are being loaded.
If the mech is going through the motions then the problem could be the lens is dirty, the laser has failed or the spin motor is faulty.
if there is no sound of the cds being loaded, it could be a power supply problem. Try a reset or just unplug the changer then re connect it.

SOURCE: Remote works, but not the reciever

This one is tough one. It soundslike you have lost the connection between the flip face and the main head unit. I suggest you pull the head unit and get it to a bench for closer investigation. Look for and tears in the connecting wire harness between the Flip control, and the main Unit.

SOURCE: dont want to lose stork controls and trip computer on fiesta st??

You have to bypass your entire factory system, it takes some customizing and careful installation, too much information to write over Fix Ya advice, phone or actual physical support in a car stereo shop is your best bet.

Good luck my friend.

SOURCE: Have a jvc head unit,

Do you have an adapter that converts the Nissan controls for the JVC? Typically this piece is specific to the car and required as a separate item. If you do have this piece, then typically one of the plugs you removed from the factory stereo but aren't currently using will plug into the control adapter unit and then it will have an output wire to connect to your JVC.

Check the speakers by checking if they have impedance with a multimeter or connect another head unit to prove they are working if they are working you'll need to get the head unit checked by an engineer .

Scoshe ha1707dgb radio pocket is to small

The radio mounts from the back side of the kit using ISO mount screws. You cannot mount the radio using the metal sleeve as with most other installations. The instructions that came with the Scosche kit illustrate this method.

I had a tech install a pioneer DEH3300ub stereo in dash using scosche kit w/ pocket. how do i remove the new stereo so i can get to the wiring harness so i can add rear speakers? Thank you in advance

You need to carefully remove the plastic trim from around the head unit. It should just snap off with your fingers. On the left and right sides of the head unit there will be thin slits made to slide in thin metal tools that come with your new head unit. If the installer did not give these to you, call him and ask for them. If he doesn't have them, most local car modification shops have dozens of these lying around, and will give them too you if you ask. Once you have the tools, it is as simple as sliding the tools on either side of the head unit at the same time until you hear the installation cage release. Then slide it out.

2006 NC MX5 Bose 6 stacker replacement/upgrade

Companies like Scosche and Metra make inexpensive dash kits for the Miata that will allow you to use a standard DIN head unit of any kind. They also often make special adapters to allow a standard aftermarket head unit to plug into the special Bose wiring.

Clarion cx609 smooth install BUT it doesnt fit entirely flush in my 03' toyota 4runner. There are about 1/2 inch gaps on either side. HELP

This is a CORPORATE double din opening

You must use a dash install kit.
Metra makes one numbered 95-8210.

Other manufacturers make install kits for this vehicle as well. Scosche & American International to name a few.
