Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
I already remove the ink absorber pad and install a hose for ink tank, still the problem occurs
When you clean the print heads, the ink has to go somewhere. This error code is, "waste pads are full". This is typically something that you take your printer to a service center for.

The printer must be in SERVICE MODE. Read the following steps .
Turn off the printer by pressing Power. Do not unplug the power cord
Press and Hold the STOP/RESET followed by pressing the POWER button. Do not remove both buttons.
Remove the STOP/RESET button but still do not release the POWER button. Press the STOP/RESET 6 times .
Then release both buttons simultaneously, the printer will be in the Service Mode .
On your computer will detect the new hardware. Ignore it.
Download the latest service tool v.3400 You can see links before reply
Prepare a few sheets of paper in the printer
Run service tool v.3400
In the clear in counter absorber menu select the main black then click set, the printer will print one sheet.
In the ink absorber counter menu select the main color then click set.
Click eeprom, the printer will print one sheet.
Select auto then start printing print a test page print wait until all of the menu is complete.
Turn off your printer and then turn on the printer and you're ready to use.
If it does not work try it manually by following the steps below.
1. Turn off the printer, and USB power cable still attached.
2. Press the Stop/Reset, hold,
3. Press the On/Off button, hold
4. Press the Stop/Reset twice. "Save mode".
5. Then press again the "Stop/Reset" 4 times, "SAVE MODE, IDLE" please wait 30 seconds
6. Next press the On/Off button twice, the printer will switch off.
7. Turn on the printer.

Try this procedure:
1. turn printer off, usb and power cable attached
2. press and hold stop/reset button
3. press and hold power button
4. while holding power button, press twice stop/reset - "save mode" should show
5. press again stop/reset 4 times - "save mode - idle" should shown,
6. wait 30sec
7. press on/off button twice, printer should switch off
8. switch printer on - it should work now normally
