Yes you can use any Lb. test line you happen to have. It does depend on what you plan to catch and how large also.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

How many pounds should the compression tester read?

There is no set amount of compression that is correct as it depends on atmospheric conditions, engine wear, etc. The important thing is that each cylinder tests within 10% of all others. Readings should be taken with throttle held wide open, and for most modern engines 120 to 150 PSI is ok. 90 psi or less usually indicates a problem. Crank engine over 4 or 5 times for reach test, with full battery and all plugs removed.

1 kg is how many pounds

The answer to this question depends on the definition of the pound you are supposed to use. There are a number of different "pounds", the most customary are:

The British avoirdupois pound, where 1 kg = 2.205 lb,
the troy pound, where 1 kg = 2.679 lbt,
the metric pound, where 1 kg = 2.000 pound.
(all numbers rounded to three digits)

In the US, the avoirdupois pound was adopted in 1959, replacing a slightly lighter pound definition introduced in 1893. The troy pound is still custom in weighing gold and the metric pound is occasionally used in central Europe as an inofficial unit, e.g. Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

A wide variety of historic pound definitions exist; I am aware of at least 20 ranging from 1 pound = 1 kg (Dutch 'pond') to the 1 lbt = 0.37324 kg (troy pound).

I have a camping stove with two burners that weighs about 20 pounds. Is that normal?

It might be normal for very old models but is certainly not so in new models because it is not practical to carry a 20 pound stove on a camping trip.

Is this a replacement pump? How long is the suction line? When you prime, does water stay at the top of the prime hole, indicating that the suction line is full? Are all joints tight?
Have you ever tried taking a wet/dry vac in wet mode and sucked the water up through the pump through the outlet side? That will prime it.

Amp turns off after about 5-10 minutes of use for a few seconds

One of two things...Amp is going into overload protection (should be indicated by a light on the amp), or you have insufficient power going to the amp....if this is the problem, try a 2 farad capacitor on the input power line to the amp.

My 94 LeSabre has a about 34 pounds of preasure in the fuel line by the engine and as soon as I step on the gas it drops down to 10 pounds. My mechanic thought it might be the diaphram above the fuel pump...

3 things it could be 1 the fuel pump itself 2 is the fuel filter could be restricted 3 is a bad fuel pressure regulator if the three have been tested and are good let me know and i will take you thru some more

Servicing a koi pond filter - Hoselock Bioforce

You can backflush it. Just swap the intake hose over to the outlet hose, then put the outlet hose on the intake. Don't forget to remove the outlet hose from the pond. Run the pump for a minute or so. Then switch the hoses back.
If it's real dirty, turn the pump off and take the outlet hose out of the pond, then undo the clips on top of the filter and lift of the top, then clean the sponges. Re-assemble.
