My Caffitaly s23 does not dispense milk every time when I'm using the latte button. I just spits out hot steam. I have cleaned and checked all the parts lots of times. Very frustrating

First; I am NOT a Caffitaly repairman. Though I have worked on mini espresso machines. Any machine that has milk sitting in a hot coffee machine will always have problems with clogging. Please check your MFR's recommended operating procedures. Most will describe a very time consuming and tedious process of keeping the equipment in just working condition, Once milk is left in the machine after brewing then the milk will 'cook' in the feed lines. Unless it's flushed after EVERY use then the milk left will leave a residue in the container and feed lines. Ever wash a used glass of milk? Yes, plain water won't rinse out the milk protein stuck to the glass. Soap, water, and brush is the only way to clean it.
** Follow your instructions. You will need to locate the small brush that came with the machine or find one from a local store that sells very tiny brushes. Feed tubes needs to be checked for clogs or build up of old milk (yuk!). Tubes may need replacement if cracked or have holes in them. Any hole will prevent milk from being sucked up into the tube. Tubes may have a metal tip on the end to help keep it on the bottom of the milk container. There should be a hole in the tip that will allow milk to pass through it.
** Suggest watching the Barista at your local coffee shop. You will always see them pulling out the COLD milk from the refrigerator. Froth the milk then put the milk jug back into the fridge. You can only froth COLD milk. That's why the milk in your Caffitalty needs to be used immediately or returned to refrigerator.
** If your still having problems then contact your vendor or the MFR for service.

Skin tip -Treating Large Pores

Treating Large Pores. If you have large pores that resemble little holes on your skin, the following steps may be helpful. Stop using commercial products on your skin. Instead, use homemade skin cleansers. Splash warm water onto your face and pour half a handful of stone-ground cornmeal into your wet palm. Massage the moistened meal into your entire face area, adding water as needed. Another homemade cleanser can be made by adding a few drops of lemon or lime juice or apple cider vinegar to milk (use powdered skin milk if your skin is oily).
Soak yarrow (check health food stores or botanical supply stores for this herb) in water overnight, and apply this astringent several times a day - less frequently if your skin is dry.
Avoid all creams. Use an unsaturated vegetable oil if you need to (e.g. vitamin E oil).

What is the recipe of Indian kulfi?

Kulfi Recipe
 • Prep time: 5 min
 • Cook time: 90 min
 • Serves: 5

Main Ingredients:

 1. full fat milk
 2. sugar

Ingredients
 • Full fat milk - 1.25 lts
 • Powdered Sugar - 1/3 cup heaped
 • Cardamom - 4, powdered
 • Pistachios - 8, roughly chopped (optional)
 • Saffron - few strands, soaked in a tbsp of warm milk for 10 mts
Method
 1. Heat milk in a wide bottomed pan and bring to a boil. Allow the milk simmer on medium flame till it reaches half its original quantity. Keep stirring inbetween.
 2. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and roughly chopped nuts. Mix well and keep simmering on medium flame, stirring till it further reduces to almost one third of its original quantity. It will have a rabdi consistency and slightly thick.
 3. Turn off flame and allow to cool.
 4. Once cool, place the mixture in the fridge for a few hours. (This helps reduce formation of ice crystals during freezing process)
 5. Pour the chilled mixture into kulfi moulds and close the lids.
 6. Place the kulfi moulds in the deep freezer and allow to set overnight or at least 7-8 hours.
 7. Once the kulfi sets, place the kulfi mould in luke warm water for a few secs to help it unmould easily.
 8. Insert kebab or ice cream stick in the kulfi and serve. You can garnish with more nuts.
Tips
 • Full fat milk is essential for authentic flavour of kulfi.
 • If you do not have kulfi moulds, you can use stainless steel vessels.
 • Kulfi expands on freezing, so do not fill to the brim.
 • You can skip step four and pour the milk mixture that is at room temperature into the kulfi moulds.

Ice maker does not make much ice - what could be the problem. overnight only about a quarter of the tray is full - Ice compartment is never full no matter how long it is between using the ice. What can...

You can boost ice production by cleaning the fins below. The better air circulation around the compressor the better performance you get. The water filter may need replacing. The water valve may need replacing. I have the same ice box as you and have not noticed a problem with the shelves. You can adjust shelf heights you know.

How can I make the milk hotter using the cappuccinator?

Yes you can make a small trick for that. You can use a sqweeter on the milk silicone hose so the milk can flow with more dificalty as long as you can see milk flowing this can be up to 78 C . You should keep the cappuccinatore very clean since you will need the steam to come as easy as possible

You can remove the end tip of the steam pipe and clean it dry milk can block hose. If you litlle steam pressure you can boil water in a glass and keep it allnight long so the dry dirt milk can be soften and the pressure of the same steam can spit all the dirt out so the steam hose can be clean again.

I have a Delonghi Magnifica Rialto EAM4500 coffee maker. Recently it has stopped frothing milk. Per delonghi I have replaced all of the gaskets that connect between the milk container and the unit. When we...

I purchased a unit second hand for my wife's birthday today. It's only 4 months old, got it home, tested it, same problem... No froth!

I've read all the posts here and all were very helpful troubleshooting guides however they did not solve the issue.

Understanding how the frothing mechanism functions is half the battle in figuring out the solution. It's a simple vacuum type system. No doubt you've read about checking the orings. This is definately the first thing to check however if this is not the reason then consider the following.

The larger of the white tubes that has the red and black oring inserts deep into its port on the tap. Why? It pushes steam past the milk pipe directly into the chrome frothing tube which causes a vacuum essentially drawing milk up it's hose creating the froth. What you can't see without further investigation is that on the underside of the tube centered between the red and black orings is a small hole. This hole is responsible for drawing the milk upwards. If this is blocked, and it probably is then no milk and no froth. Use a really small screwdriver to carefully clean the white tube both from the front and the little hole underneath.

So in conclusion. Any air leak between the red and black orings will prevent the vacuum required to draw milk up the tube and alternatively any blockage of the milk channel will also obviously prevent the flow into the frothing mechanism. Hope this helps.

It says in the manual to soak it in very hot water for 10-20 minutes, then try again. This should free trapped food from the shaft
