I can boot up and go to desktop in normal or safe mode with no problem; however, I'm trying to enable the onboard audio for my computer and it must be done through the BIOS (F2) at system start up.
When I hit the F2 key, the read out claims that it's going into the BIOS but just hangs and goes no where. It's quite odd that I see no other problems with my operating system. I was recently hit with a trojan virus but it was removed.
Anyone know how to get into the BIOS, other than hitting F2???
Thanks!

- Thanks for the quick responses guys!! The guy who said to unplug USB, in the previous E521 Start Up issue, from the front was partly, if not all the way, right! It seemed too simple to be true, lol. Recently I changed my start up method, from regular boot to fast boot, which skips compatibility issues. I'm running a audio system, monitor mic/ camera, and keyboard/ mouse through the USB's. I'm sure that all this monotony just, temporarily jammed up the system. After transferring the the plugs to the back USB's, I rebooted and it went into Start Up mode just fine. Thanks guys, and stay COOL!!!

- My bad, I should have clearly stated that I was trying to access the system start up. Problem Solved
Unfortunately, I don't think there is another way to get in to the bios other than what it says. I know that you got rid of this trojan, but you may be feeling the after effects of this virus. Some viruses will harm your computer physically and not just on your hard drive. You may have gotten ahold of one of those like that though. But you may be able to reset your bios another way. There is a connector on the board for the cmos and it should say on the board itself CMOS and right next to it 3 little pins with a connector on two of the 3. Just remove that connector and put it on the other side of those 3 pins and leave it there for about 5 minutes, then swap it back. That acts as a manual reboot of the bios itself. Try that and see if it works
