Question about Sewing Machines
Can get the darn machine to do anything, it did zig zag but then I fooled with the tenson trying to get it o strate stictch now I got nothin
Sad to say without make and model we have a hard time finding what might be wrong and even a good photo of the front of the machine would help

Do you have a manual...if not White will email one to you at your request. Make sure the stitch width is slid or turned all the way over to as narrow as possible. Good luck.

my suggestion is take the machine in to a sewing machine shop
to be check to see if something inside is broken or come loose
knowing the machine is in good working order gives peace of mind
instead of wanting to through it out the window
and get a instruction manual
Go to the singer website for a free pdf manual
Go to the home page
Go to customer service--click on it--it will show a small menu--click on instruction manual
In the box put the model number (example w265) & click search
