Unless you have been properly trained do not take the cover off, just replace it or take it to your local service shop. If it is under warrenty that will make it easy. The links below should help. There are a lot of videos on YouTube but be careful if you remove any covers.

The digital timer working means the unit is getting electricity but if the magnetron (the expensive part that does the cooking) is no longer working, it won't cook. Do try to see if it might have a separate fuse for the magnetron before giving up on it.

pull your magnetron connector out and clean the both pins with alcohols or a metal cleaner and then fix it again and use. magnetron will work surely.

Push button foe a R-1870F Microwave. Somehow the button slid down in behind the conrols. How do you get it out. It look like some type of spring holds it in place.


You have a broken tab on your door open button (drawing ref. 3-2-4) or a broken door lever (ref # 4-25).

The button is normally held out by the spring.

You need to trace the power feeding the high voltage transfomer. Because the table doesn't turn, it implies that a door switch or safety interlock is the problem.
