Unfortunately unless you are a re-manufacturer of cartridges you probably won't be able to procure the necessary parts. If it is some parts on the drum cartridge you will just need to replace it. It is a consumable part anyways and is required to change it after a certain number of prints. You should be able to order one online or purchase at a local store like a Cartridge World.

We have Ricoh Aficio 1018 , machine functions , gives print without the matter printed

Sounds like a bad photoconductor unit (PCU), or problem with the transfer roller which is mouned inside the right side door. The PCU consists of 2 main sections; the development unit, with developer ang mag roll (on the bottom) and drum, with charge roller and cleaning blade (on the top). If the gears that turn the mag roll go bad, toner will not be applied to the charged drum. If the transfer roller is missing or not being charged the image will not be transferred to the paper. Check the connector from the copier to the right side door and the leaf springs that carry the charge from that wire and contact the transfer roller.

We've got a noisy Maytag gas dryer and it has been suggested it needs brake shoes on the front and rollers on the back of the drum. Is anyone near enough to Oberon to assist us please?

To access the front you remove 2 screws at the base of the front and remove the front panel, newer models you pop the top first. Not all maytags are exactly the same. The front of the drum rides on plastic glides and the rear of the dryer rides on rollers. I made a few maytag dryer home videos HERE

The inside back & drum meets clothes getting stuck

sounds like one or more of the rollers the drum rides on has moved or is broken, using a putty knife slide it between the top and the front panels on each side to release the top of machine open it up like a car hood, the front of machine has clips holding it to the sides remove the front for access to the bottom of drum where rollers are, it should be obvious where the rollers are supposed to ride check for loose broken mounts, unit will snap back together

Tub won't turn belt broken ,how do you replace belt?

You can remove the lower panel below the door and see the motor and belt. To replace the belt you need to unscrew the front panel and slip the belt over the front of the drum. Reattach the top front panel with screws and loosen the tension roller from the front bottom access panel. Hook the belt around the motor pulley and tension roller. Tighten the tension roller and turn the drum by hand to make sure there are no restrictions and the belt and motor pulley are turning. It is best to inspect the drum rollers on the bottom of the drum to make sure the rollers have no play in them. If you can wiggle the rollers front to back replace them too. Replace the rest of the panels and check the units operation.

Our Kyocera FS2000D has two small parallel lines down the left hand side of the paper. It just started doing this. Is this a symptom that the machine needs a new drum? How hard is it to replace the drum?...

drums are very easily to replace.. you don't even need a screw driver....before you order a drum...check the charge rollers..
this roller is part of the drum and you can order it seperate...
ok.. to remove the drum..first take out the process unit..this is the entire unit that the toner sits into( don't unlock the toner)..once the process unit is the left hand cover and remove the waste toner bottle.. the drum sits right above the bottle..simply push on the grey square tab.. to release the drum out of the left side of the printer (easy right!!) check the drum and chare roller..also on the process unit there is a green tab you can slide back and forth to clean the grid

The drum turns, but the unit does not heat. How do I get inside to check the heating coils?

You need to take the top of the dryer off. Usually clips hold it on. Then remove the dryer drum. The drum usually sits on rollers and has a pulley on it that the belt from the motor is in. The heating coil sits in back of the drum. It looks like a piece of wire and is attached to the back of the dryer via little insulated blocks. If you can not see the heater broken, do a continuity check if you have access to a meter. It should NOT read open.

My dryer just started making a slight banging noise when it runs

Does it bang all the time or just ar start up?

All the time ... maybe you left a sneaker inside :-)

At start up ... normal noise. The belt has to do some fancy curlie cue stuff at the bottom and it takes a while for it to get stretched back to normal just like you do when you are abruptly awakened (when someone presses your START button) :-)

Let me know if this helps

Paper jam

My dp85f, jams also.

The reason is, that the "fuser and pressure roller" unit is clamping an thus, the gearwheel driving this unit has been damaged.

Anyone knows, where to get spare parts?

The most common cause for E100 is the drum unit. At the rear of the drum unit should be a small peg pointing into the machine. This gets broken off. It's purpose is to opperate a laser cut off shield when the drum is removed so to prevent laser exposure. If peg is missing laser will not be detected by the system and give E100. Can be repaired or will require a new drum if it has done more than 40 to 60K copies.

Xerox xc865 - follow up questions

This copier has a toner cartridge and drum cartridge. If you are getting a blank page either the paper is not getting charged my the corona wire (located in the bottom of this device), or the drum is not getting charged. A great way to check is to open the lid and make a copy. When the page is half way through, turn off the device. Open the copier, remove the toner cartridge first (hold a piece of paper under it to keep from having a mess) then remove the drum. Inspect the drum. If you have toner on it, there is nothing wrong with the drum, you have a dirty or broken corona wire. If there is nothing on the drum, you may have a dirty or broken charge wire on the drum. If the device has been sitting around a while, the drum could be damaged. Replacement drums are $150. Back to the corona wire if there was image on the drum. These copiers used to ship with a small green cleaning tool inside for the coronal wire which was positioned on the bottom (inside) the copier...going from memory here. This is a thin wire that stretches across, if it is intact, try cleaning it with the cleaning tool, or a cotton swab.
