Shorted component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] board. Check and replace them, or replace the SMPS board as card basis.

Replace the power cord (FYI - they plug into the back using a standard power cord - computers and other home electronics use the same cord) with another and retry. Often these will get pinched or a screw ran through it (when inside a wall) to cause a dead short. This is a significant issue, so if the new cord doesnt correct the blown fuse then have it professionally repaired. DEAD SHORTS BURN DOWN HOUSES SO PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT LIGHTLY!

You have a dead short someplace probably in the power supply.

I have a whirlpool dryer mod #LER5620KQ1 that suddenly went dead. Any ideas on what I need to do?

First thing yall do is check for reasons why the dryer would quit. The most common being air restrictions. themobilian_2155.jpg
Your dryer has a fuse right there beside the filter housing. When the drum temp exceeds 350f rapidly this fuse melts and kills power to the door switch. themobilian_2156.jpg
If the fuse is fine then check the door switch

I have a manual and more repair photos HERE

Machine fills but wont do anything else

try the Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse. or your motor coupling could have broken!

Fuse T1.6L250V

The fuse which you have used is of correct rating 250v/5A, the switching regulator of the SMPS primary section is faulty, so the fuse blows of continously
