Fridge freezing up and no fan or air circulation:

The fan usually stops working due to ice obstruction when the defrost terminator has gone out and u get ice build up? u can check the terminator with a multi meter for continuity but do not check at room temperature. stick the terminator in cup of ice water for 20 minutes then check it for continuity, should be closed when cold and open at room temperature.
May also need to check the defrost timer, u can get by and test manually by placing a small screw driver into the tiny slot or hole underneath the timer and turn slowly clockwise till u hear 1 click. this will engage ur defrost cycle in about 15 minutes u should be able to come back and feel the heat in freezer as it melts the ice providing ur terminator is not bad?
Another way to test it is with a multi meter. Remove timer it from fridge and you will see 4 prongs numbered 2,1,4,3 in that order. Place ur meter prong on prong 1 & 3 (if your fridge has a capacitor wired in series with the windings, then u check for micro fares rather than OHMS) If u cannot confirm this test, still try the next.
Take ur meter prong and connect to prong 1 & 4, it should read resistance or ohms ( closed) now remove prongs and place on prong 1 & 2, this should now read infinity or open (no ohms) now take a small screwdriver place it in the tiny hole or slot under the timer. Turn it clockwise slowly till u hear 1 click. Now ur 1& 2 should read closed ( showing ohms or resistance) now place meter prongs on 1 & 4 and you it should now show open ( or no resistance - no ohms) this is how u know ur timer is good, Remember when testing for ohms ADJUST meter to use a high ohms rating in the thousands as the resistance is very high in OHMS. And adjusting to low ohms rating may give a false reading or not show the proper resistance..

Another item to check with a meter is the heating element itself. Located under the evaporator coils. It should show continuity or resistance OHMS WHEN TESTED AT BOTH ENDS OF THE PRONGS .

Lastly check the cold control thermostat with a meter for both OHMS and volts ( VOLTS is a live test with fridge plugged in so be careful) It must show 110 volts. An open or thermostat that reads infinity will not allow the proper cooling and defrosting cycles to operate and may in fact stop anything from happening as if there is no power to the unit?

Got a leak at the back of the engine after a freeze on a 1996 Ford f-150 v8 where are the freeze plugs back there

You have to remove the transmission to get to the freeze plugs on the back of the engine. Remove transmission and flywheel and you will see the freeze plug. Replace the plugs in the side of the block as well if you replace them.

Model CME256AS-1D will not go back into freeze cycle and will eventually stop, requiring the unit to be reset.

So is the unit going into a harvest and not going back to a freeze cycle? dose it dump a batch of ice but wont go back into a freeze cycle? before you reset it have you pulled the front cover to see what code it is giving? any time you have to reset it that means it locked its self out on a fault. if unit freezes and go's into a harvest and dumps the ice but dose not go back into freeze cycle check the door switch when the ice dumps the deflector door opens a magnetic switch which tells the board the harvest has finished and then the freeze cycle begins. Now if there is no ice falling off the plate to open the door then the board will time out and try 3 more times to make ice before it locks it out. the same go's for the harvest.

The back of mt fridge is frozen. I've set the temperature between 4 - 5. If I put food near the back it freezes. What is the best thing to do?

Move items that are susceptible to freezing towards the front. The air circulates in from the back and anything set directly in the airstream will freeze.

Freezing when I install a micro sd card into my samsung eternity

i had the same problem. so i try whatever i can
- i remove battery, put it back on, turn the phone back on. seems like it works for 3-5 minutes and freeze again
- i remove sim (only ),memory card still in there, and turn the phone back on..let it sit with no sim. and 3 minutes later it freeze again
- i remove sim, remove micro sdhc, reset the phone , the phone automatic restart..it woks... it never freeze ( no sim+ no memory card )
- i put the sim back on, no memory card, turn the phone back on and it works!!!!!!! i try these 2-3 times without memory card. works normal!!!
so..i think its a memory card issue. may be the phone doesn't like it. i have 2gb. kingston. or i have to buy a new card again.
for now its still working without freeze up for shut down by itself.

Well i have just bought the new star wars game and for some reason it comes up with the disc not being able to be read. At first i thought it was the game but i have tried 3 other games and my xbox keeps...

If it freezes on multiple games its prolly not the game. my first xbox had this problem, i had to have my xbox replaced, but first try unplugging everything then plugging back in that sometimes fixes it. You can also try the things xbox customer support says to do with freezing xboxs. If none of this works then take the xbox back.
If its just StarWars Force Unleashed thats freezing then it could be like all the others. the game has been having a major freezing problem.
