Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
Read the casting number on the block, then look on the internet to decipher it. 350 blocks from the late 60's to 1979 had dipstick in th block on left side, 80-86 on the right hand side, 87 up had one piece rear main seal, 93 start showing up with roller cams, 96 Vortec. All the blocks have unique casting numbers. Most also have a factory stamped serial number on the front of the block somewhere, often under the left cyl. head
