If by emergency handle you mean chain brake ? are you pressing in on it (towards saw) as you pull back towards handle it's made to latch in chain stop mode on purpose

I bought my husband a 2 pc. chainsaw set. Blue Max 14"-20" It will not stay powered up to make a cut, after it is started. We need to know where to take it for service, or what process is needed for a

A good idea to take it to home depot. Some of them have stations that work on fixing power tools and other things that break often. As for your problem it seems as if there is some sort of connection problem with the battery. Whenever you move it may jostle the connection enough to cut it off there for turning of the chainsaw. If you can check they battery and see if there are any loose cables that may help and if not take it to home depot.

I changed the chainsaw chain on my Blue Max chainsaw. The kick-back seems to be locked

Bob take the chain off again and remember to tighten the tensioning bar so that the chain is slightly loose. Enough to pull a few cm of the bottom just to stop it being tight.

I have a Lexus RX300 1999 model and have this recent problem. engine running normally but gear gets stuck in Parking mode and won't shift. had to depress the emergency button on the gear shift and

Hi there,

Some automatic vehicles rely on the brake switch (mounted on brake pedal) to be activated by depressing brake pedal. This signal then operates a relay and switch, to release the gear lever.

Firstly, I would check the brake pedal switch (are your brake lights working?).

If brake switch is confirmed OK, then inspect the relay (and related circuit components) of the gear release switch.

Brand new Blue Max 20" chain saw wont start, has fresh gas/oil mixed @ 25:1

I also have a BlueMax 45cc chainsaw that I could not start right out of the box. I got lucky a couple of times after many (20 or 30 pulls) but normally I just gave up. Many others online seem to be having this problem with this chainsaw.

It turns out the solution for me was that the starting instructions in the manual are not really complete, there is another step that aids in starting: it needs some throttle. The chainsaw does not like to start with power at idle. After setting the switch to on and setting the choke, as the manual says, before attempting to start, squeeze the throttle while pressing the side button to lock it. For me, this allowed it to FINALLY start with only a few pulls. I learned this when I ran across this video:

Hope this helps anyone else who runs into this.

Chainsaw starts but chain does not move freely in running mode. flip the guard back and chain moves freely but will not cut because safety gaurd has been tripped.

Parking brake cable broke, 94 chevy s10 stuck, how do you release emergency brake and do i fix it

If it broke it should have released itself, the system is a simple cabel pully system, if its broken the cable cant have the tension to keep the brake engadged. if you want to release the handel pull the release and physicaly move the pedal.
