Depends! At least we have a consistent metric system across the world, but other measures, like volume are different depending on where you live. I guess this all stems from a US gallon being a little bit smaller than an Imperial gallon.
1 fl oz Imperial = 28.41 milliliters
1 fl oz US = 29.57353 milliliters

Let's set up some ratios.

1 fl oz Imperial x
------------------- = -----------------
28.41 ml 3.75ml

Cross-multiply and solve for x, we get 0.13199577613516367476240760295671 fl oz Imperial.

1 fl oz US x
------------------- = -----------------
29.57353ml 3.75ml

Cross-multiplying and solving for x , we get 0.12680258325604011425081821480222 fl oz US

Good luck.

Homemade Cream Soda

Cream soda is a delicious treat, especially on a hot summer day with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Its so easy to make all it takes is a little patience.

Ingredients (recipe for 500ml bottle):
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of yeast
  • water

Using a funnel pour the the sugar, vanilla extract, yeast and water into a half liter bottle.
Shake the bottle until all the ingredients dissolve.

Then leave the bottle to sit at room temperature for up to 48 hours. You want the bottle to feel hard when you squeeze it, this means that the yeast has fermented to make the fizz. Make sure not to leave it in a hot place or left alone for longer than 48 hours because it may explode and you'll have a sticky mess!

Once its hard place the bottle in the fridge for between 24 and 48 hours to stop the fermentation and allow the yeast to settle at the bottom. Make sure not to shake the bottle up you don't want to have yeast floating in your drink.

If you find that this recipe tastes too much like yeast you can experiment with using more sugar and vanilla.

How many ounces of oil do I add to gasoline to get a 50 to 1 mix?

Quite simple if the mix says 1:50 ( one to 50 ) ,it means for every one ounce of oil you add 50 ounces of gasoline.

If the instructions say 1/50 ( one of 50 parts) ,it means for every let us say 50 ounces of mix there are 49 ounces of gas and one ounce of oil.I use a one liter wine bottle !000 ml ,I put in 20 ml of oil fill bottle with gas and shake well-ps (mark bottle -hate to take a swig). If you are into avoirdupois system use 1 ounce oil add 50 ounces fresh gas .
