How do I connect my magic eye to my upgraded sky hd plus bow as it doesn't have any co-ax connectivity

if your Sky+ HD box is the WiFi version, there are no RF outlets on the back. You can buy an adaptor, called an IO Link, for about 10 from Sky or Amazon.

Hi there. I have a sky hd plus box and I am unsure how to connect it to my Samsung BD-D8900 Blu-ray HDD player so i can record programs from the Sky box. Hod do I do this please?

Connect the Sky boxes AV out to the line in of the Samsung using a Yellow/Red/White RCA cable. Then in the source button of the Samsung choose External In or Line In and just hit the record button. The only problem with this connection is that you will have to leave the Samsung selector on Line In even just to watch programs from Sky. This is called a looped through connection. Your Sky is looped through your Samsung Recorder.

I have a samsung42 inch flat screen and a dvd and a sky plus box and avhs recorder could show me how to do the set up connections please

If you have a blueray or HD DVD player I would connect using a gold plated HDMI cable from the TV to the DVD, make sure that you buy the correct HDMI version for your TV. If you don't have a HS DVD player recorder then use a HQ SCART as below.

Most SKY+ boxes still have a SCART connection I suggest that you buy a HQ gold plated ribbon connector to connect the SKY to one of your AV (audio visual) channels. The benefit of using SCART is that it will autoselect the AV channel when SKY is taken out of standby.

You will not need to connect using co-axial cables these are pretty much redundant now as you can get all your channels through your SKY dish.

Also if you live in a poor reception area and your TV has freeview built in SKY is your better option.
