SOURCE: I have a 4751 Oster Rice Cooker/Steamer and can't

Sounds like the thermal switch is possibly going bad, This switch opens at a certain temperature and transitions the unit from cook to warm mode. These thermal devices cannot be calibrated, but can be replaced. It is located under the bottom cover and is flush mounted to the permanent cooking pan. It should be mounted with 2 screws and have 2 wire lugs connected to it. It is not a difficult part to change, but getting the information off the old one might be a challenge. Even then, you may not be able to find a direct replacement, but you should be able to find one close to the temperature range you need. I just replaced the one in my Oster 4724 and it cost me about $6.00 plus shipping.

Hope this helps and good luck.

The plastic plate that came with my rice cooker, what is it, I lost my manual

What is the actual model number? HB makes several and none of the current or listed ones are 37531.

37541 is a current model, also none are "10 Cup" and the "plate" or tray, is for steaming vegetables.

Is it ok to fill my slow cooker all the way to the top?

You should try to avoid filling your slow cooker all the way. Most manufacturers suggest leaving 1-1.5 inches of space to allow sufficient room for the foods to simmer during cooking. This will eliminate any occurrences of bubbling over during the simmering process, keeping your counters clean.

How can I stop food from sticking to the inside of my slow cooker?

Most slow cookers are designed with a sleek interior to keep foods from sticking and ease in the clean-up process. However, with time and use, the finish will wear off and food will start to stick to the inside walls. Spraying/greasing the interior with cooking oil prior to use will help with this problem.

Hamilton beach 20 cup rice cooker

The rice cooker should have markings on the side of the pot. This indicates the water level for a given amount of rice. For instance, if you add 4 cups of rice, you add water until it is level with the 4 mark.
