You most likely have a failing color wheel.this is a symptom of the color wheel losing sync. This is a common failure on a Mitsubishi TV of that age. you may be able to solve this by merely cleaning the insides. Unplug the TV and make sure the lamp has been off for at least an hour. Remove the lamp and use canned air or air compressor to blow inside the lamp cavity. Then have a vacuum ready to suck up any dust that billows out. The dust gets in the way of the color wheel sensor and causes this to happen. Reinstall the lamp and try again. If it does not let up, then you may have a bad color wheel or a problem with leaking capacitors in the power supply. With either of those issues you need a service tech to check it.

Hi Jenell

Looks like you might have lost one of your primary colours. RGB
A section of the internal electronics controls Red Green Blue.
Check for loose plugged in cables on back. Antenna or Cable
Try inputing a signal from another external video device like a hard drive.
Try a couple of hard slaps on the back to see if it changes.
If it does then you may simply have an internal bad connector or loose wire.
Make sure the air holes around the unit are clean to allow cooling air to flow.
Other than that, you will need a technician to open it up.
Cheers

Wd 62628 lamp indicator light is solid yellow / orange what needs to be done

Your lamp cover is not installed. That is what causes the LED to light amber. Remove and re-seat the lamp cover door. There is a switch it hits to tell the TV the door is shut. This is to protect you from electrocution.

WD-52627 not showing programs in HD (showing in 480 not 1080) after moving and switching from DishNet to cable.

You have to change the composite inputs from the cable box to the one marked 1080p in the back of the TV. (The Green Red and Blue cables.)

Blinking Green Light on Mitsubishi DLP 52525

The 52525 is definitely going to either:

1. have the caps on the FMT/DM board replaced (not something I'd recommend you do yourself)

2. have the electrical chassis rebuilt (as sometimes, you can replace the caps and still have the problem).

wait time: 4-8 weeks
cost to rebuild: $400-$500
cost for labor: $200-$400
