What make and model of the calculator do you have. In calculator there's ram, it has memory and if you depress RM and * or TL that will clear . This is when you are using M+ or M- . If you use it for plus and minus then you do not have to worry. The C is the clear key and the TL or * is the total key and when you press the C, CL or AC means the memory total is clear.
