Windsheild wipers will not stop going.

It is likely an issue with the switch, and not the motor. Try using an air cleaner (like compressed air in a can) on the wiper stem on your steering column. Then use some floss inbetween the knobs to remove any debris. I would not try removing the wiper control stem without professional help, like your Toyota dealer.

I suspect broken threads are trapped inside the thread route in the tension mechanism. Can I open and clean out?

I suggest turning the tension down to zero and using a crisp dollar bill to try flossing the tension disks. You can also try using un-waxed dental floss to try to floss out the trapped threads.

Why does it sew a couple of stitches and quit?

Sounds like you're getting a false "thread break" error. That's caused because the thread is either not in the tension disk at all, or the thread is not seated deeply enough between the disks and triggers the thread out sensor.

You MUST thread your machine with the presser foot UP. That is the only time the tension disks are spread to accept the thread. If you are doing that and getting the error, take the cover off (page 81 in your user's manual--it's designed to be removed for cleaning), and using UNWAXED ONLY dental floss or hand embroidery floss, gently floss between your tension disks to see if there are thread ends or lint preventing the thread from seating. To locate the tension disks, raise and lower your foot, and you'll see it move.

Howto clean the thread tension wheel

You don't mention what model you have, and I'm not sure of what you're referring to when you say the "thread tension wheel" doesn't move freely. I'm assuming that you're talking about a wheel that sets the tension.

Regardless, to clean the tension disks, the actual things that exert tension on the thread, you will have to locate them. They are somewhere in the thread path; most likely, they are under a separate cover over the thread patch, which is designed to be unscrewed and removed by the user for cleaning purposes. It may be held by one or two screws, depending on your model. Once it is off, raise and lower the presser foot, and the actual tension disks will be the only thing that moves. That is why you must ALWAYS thread with the presser foot UP; it is the only time the disks are spread to accept threading.

To clean, use only UNWAXED dental floss, or hand embroidery floss, and "floss" gently between the disks. It is likely that you will see threads and/or lint coming out. If there are threads there, you might only see an end and have to remove the rest using tweezers and some patience.

The thread breaks going thru the dial tension assembly

Kathy. Get in the habit of stopping the machine with the take up lever in the UP position. Then lift the presser foot, and pull your item away. If you still have issues..... try "flossing" with unwaxed floss the tension discs. And check to
make sure you are in between the discs rather than to one side of them or the other.

Good luck

How does one rmove the oven door of a jenn air oven. I can not find instructions in the owners manual or installation guides/instructions. Do I need to remove the hinges or is there a release mechanism?

Look at the hinge, their is like a slider bar to move or you remove the little cover plate, with the Philips screw..then lift the door up and out while pulling...

I WARN YOU, if you really don't need to remove the door don't, it is very hard to put back on unless you have had practice....

Battery case does not open

make sures its being turned to the left, and if it will not come off, wrap duct tape around it to protect it and use large vice grips or pliers to get it off. Vice grips would be better as the lock but dont' lock them down too tight as you can dent the cap.

Jet air not working on the evolution serger by babyloc can anyone

Have you tried to use the wire to pull some floss type thread through the loopers ( I often use a cleaning fluid on the floss thread to clean out the inside the looper tubes.
If this fails to help, likely a professional change of the loopers should be considered

Where is the air cabin filter in a toyota corolla 2006 ?

I have an 06 corrolla. Open the glove box, empty it out, and on both sides you will find philips head screws holding the supports. Once removed the glove box will tip forward and expose the cover of the cabin air filter. Carefully remove the cover and pull out the filter.(note the directional arrows of the filter as you remove it) Installation is a reversal of the above.

Needle centering wheel is stuck tight and cannot

On these machines, the shaft UNDER the centering wheel fits into a bushing, and this is what normally rotates. The wheel is fixed to the shaft. Penetrating oil needs to be placed UNDER the centering wheel but above the bushing. We solved this problem on two machines by saturating dental floss (the kind used to clean braces) with penetrating oil. Insert the floss UNDER the plastic wheel around the shaft, with the two ends sticking out the slot for the centering wheel. Then cycle the floss in and out of the area around the shaft. Let it soak and repeat. It takes some time, but it worked, and did not require disassembly of the machine. Greased Lightning also was used. Kithen grippers help with rotating the wheel.
