Can I use a inverter for boost for a car amp?

Yeah, it can be done. Instead of the booster being 12 volt, you'll be using a 120 volt booster. Won't make a difference on output of booster, 4 amp and up, whether it's 12 volt or 120 volt power input, you'll just be using more power from your car battery. Be sure you've a good charging system.

I have an Astec DS 1500-3-001 power supply that I want to use a a stand alone PS. What pins do I need to connect to get +12v DC output with 120 VAC Input.

Mike
I take it that this is a standard power supply out of a PC (switch mode)
These are a common connection point on any brand PC
Use a DC Voltmeter to find the Ground, +5 Volt & +12 volt wires to power your 3.5 inch Hard Drive. The 2.5" Hard Drives (laptop) has only Ground (Black) & +5 Volt.

Will there be interference if I hook a Jensen MDV6115 to a 120 volt tv?

Hi there,

Under no circumstances must you use a different voltage ! The power supply on these units are designed for 12v only.

However, if your question is simply referring to connecting the AV 'outputs' (i.e. yellow, red, white rca's) of your Jensen, to the AV 'inputs' of our TV, then that is fine. The AV outputs can be treated the same as any other video device.

NO AC fault

First check your 120 volt outlet.
Then get or test your transformer, 120 volts input, 24 volts ac output.
Connect and you should be good.

On the outlets it has 4/120volts outlets and 1/120-240volts outlet. Can you use the 120/240 outlet as a reg 120volt? And what is the reason of the 120/240 outlet. Thank you

The reason for the 120/240 volt outlet is to be able to run things like large electric heaters or even your clothes dryer as they all require 240 volts. If you use it as 240 volts you will not have maximum current output on your other outlets so you wouldn't be able to plug anything really big in. And yes you can only use is as a 120V output if you would like but you will need a special attachment or extension cord. I'm going to leave you with two reference pages I looked up that you should have a look at.
