Where is the timer located that controls the dome and outside mirrors lights?

Lamps, Courtesy The interior courtesy lamps are controlled by the generic electronic module (GEM) and are activated by the interior lamp relay. The interior lamp relay coil is grounded by the GEM when:
  • a door is opened.
  • illuminated entry is requested from remote anti-theft personality module.
The courtesy lamps will turn off if:
  • ignition switch is turned to RUN.
  • illuminated entry off request is received from remote anti-theft personality module or after 25-seconds.

Sunal tanning bed m# X144459200 In need of wiring diagram if possible The problem im having is when you power the bed all I get is a loud buzzing sound coming from the relay/contactor there is 116 volts...

The buzzing sound indicates a problem with the relay itself. It is a simple device whose purpose is to take a small amount of electricity ( like turning your timer switch on) which activates a small electromagnet coil, which then pulls down a metal contact bar which closes a switch to activate a major power consumer ( like the bank of lights on the tan bed).
The reason to do this is so you don't have like 3000 watts or more of power passing thru your timer switch which would require much beefier wiring and controls. SO by using a relay, the relay uses a small amount of power to flip a switch on the major circuit.
The relay buzzing sounds like either the coil in the relay is shorted out (the heat sometimes melts the insulation on the wires in the coil), and the short is taking away enough power from the relay magnet coil that it can't pull down the switch activation bar to switch on the bed.
If you have a voltmeter you can measure the voltage in the activated circuit that powers the bulbs. The wires should be the bigger gauge ones. If you are getting low voltage or no voltage in the secondary circuit (that is the circuit with high amps that runs the bulbs and fans) that is a good indicator the relay is bad .
If oyu know your way around basic electricity, you can isolate one of the ballasts that feed some light bulbs and hook a 110V power source to that ballast and see if some of those lights come on. If they do that is further confirmation the relay is bad and you may need to order a new one

1986 sca wolff 328sl tanning bed wont stay running

Consult manufacturer. You can track that down online. You may have a over-temp switch inside the bed. If so, then either the switch is bad or the bed is getting too hot. Have a trained technician to check voltage going to bed, if voltage is wrong that can cause bed to overheat. Make sure all fans are running, replace any fan that is not running. Clean all dust out of bed with vacuum and brush while you have it open.

I have a sunvision 24 tanning bed and it isn't coming on what do i do

Have a trained technician to: Check main breaker, check that bed is getting power to it, check for bad fuse on back of bed, check for burned out wiring inside of bed at main relay, check that the timer is good.

Wiring diagram for sunquest pro 24 tanning bed

I do not have a diagram, but the contactors are really simple. You have 2 power switches on top of contactor and 2 wires going to the coil. There should be 4 larger wires on top, 2 in and 2 out.

If any of the crimp-on wire fasteners are blackened, then have a trained technician to replace the fastener. If bed comes on when pushing down on contactor with a plastic ink pen, then check the timer by turning on the timer and checking the voltage at the Main Relay Coil. If no voltage, then the timer is bad.

Runs about 15 minutes and shuts off

hello!are you sure, there is no "off" timer involved? or "sleep timer" getting pushed on remote control? If not: D.L.P. or L.C.D. projectors might have the lamp on a brink of life. Heats up, then quits. May be the picture was quite dim for a while? time to replace the lamp! get lam with housing! don't try to be smart...! It's very simple task to replace the first, rather than save a 10 bucks and get things messed up. I've seen it many times! You need to know "how to" for bare lamp. no need to special knowledge to replace lamp with housing. Just locate the lamp door, unscrew the door, then lamp and go ahead with installation. If you have an old fashion CRT(picture tube) projector, that's a major job! It might shut down due to numerous issues. As of the faulty parts or solder joints or both. there is no such a remedy for a "big screen TV", unless somebody knows exact cause, make, model, etc.Good luck,Alex.

I recently replaced the TY-LA1000 lamp but I'm getting a yellow flashing light that goes on every 5 secs.I made sure that it was installed correctly and tried resetting the timer by pressing + and - o

Yellow flashing light? Did you get any picture? Bet, not!
It means: your lamp door interlock is not engaged: did you forget to turn the locking knob? Did you install lamp compartment door? That might be the only issue. Lamp timer blinks 'red", while TV works normally. Reset the timer, it's gone, along with annoying message. Yellow means: interlock or thermal protection is off. Try to repeat lamp installation procedure. then, you'll find out your mistake. don't need to remove the lamp. It would be "red", if lamp won't fire up.
good luck,
Alex.

Just purchased bed. 5 lamps not lighting and 1 on canopy blew immediately after turning on. replaced lamps, replaced starters and holders. still have the same issue and have tried 2 more lamps in the one...

Have a trained technician to check the voltage going to the bed. If all bulbs / ballasts have same problem, this may be the problem. You may need a Buck/Booster.

GE 15086 7-day Digital Wall Switch Timer 15086 Having installed and set up timer, and put the switch from timer to off. Then, when I push the door to turn on the lamp, it does not work. Why? Thanks.

I think this is the dealy timer you have installed and if your relay is connected to the other side it becomes and switched on timer.
So I think if the timer controller is correct you must connect the lamp to the OFF relay and when the door is opened the lamp wil light up for the designated time set.
Is that so?
