I've had this headset for a while now and the microphone hasn't been working for a long time. I have been looking for a way to fix it, but I have no idea. Any ideas?
There is no obvious physical damage, I have searched over the internet for a fix and found nothing. The microphone takes in no sound, and sometimes isn't detected by my computer. It seems to temporarily work on some computers before stopping again, and I am using a USB mic temporarily. Also, this headset uses audio and mic jacks.

I've heard of this problem alot, I took 10 minutes today with my friend with this headset to figure out a fix.
From what i can tell, Skype doesnt pick up the Microphones input.
The only solution I could figure out so far has been this.
A voice changing program called MorphVox Pro (by Screaming bee) offers a Trial.
If you download it, and set up your microphone on this to work, You can then in skype select the MorphVOX Pro as your microphone, and you can use this chat program to work with your headset.
This is only a temporary fix But it is a step in the right direction, I'll be forwarding my email to Razer later to try and get some updates for the headset.

Fixed it: the microphone on the headphone was switched off - it's a bit of a design weakness in the Logitech headset: it's easy to unintentionally turn the microphone off while putting the headset on. The lower half of the right headphone's central medallion is a button - indicated by a crossed out microphone icon.
integrated microphone really wont work on xp. it's either there's njo choice for us or they are still working on it (which i don't believe). Sorry but the system was designed for Windows Vista that's why, there's no driver designated for XP.
