Question about Toshiba Satellite 1415-S105 Notebook

1 Answer

Nvidea I deleted an nvidea program in an attempt to update drivers for Ge Force 4 420 GO. Now I dont have full resolution. I cannot find the program i deleted in my recycle bin. I have tried a system restore, but I am assuming because I deleted the program, it cannot restore. My cd player will not play my restore cd's so I cannot restore it that way. I am very unsure of myself in attempting to do anything with my registry.

Windows is not compatible with many machines. Better off staying with Win7 until Nvidea updates the drivers.

Sometimes stuck my video player in dell laptop

It is possible nvidea has ram memory not functioning properly, or the laptop is busy with other programs causing a brief interruption while watching your video player. Check to make sure you have latest update on your video graphics card, and contact nvidea about your problem, may have a fix.

Do you mean the printing has moved from Portrait to Landscape? If you do, before printing click File then Print then go into properties and change the orientation back to Portrait.
Hope that helps.

I install xp in my laptop but i didnot get drivers support xp

well is you must collect all hardware info. and go to the severall hardware brands to get drivers ex: if video card is nvidea you must go to get driver, and so on.

after 13/7/2010 the microsoft has winxp and vista "end of life", status. so no updates\support is delivered from microsoft.

Multiple squiggly lines fill the LCD screen, after

Sounds to me like your inverter has gone bad. Typically it's situated just below your LCD. To get to it you will have to take out the screws around the LCD bezel. It's a long, skinny circuit board that the LCD plugs into. You can usually find a replacement on Ebay. Just be sure that you're ordering the correct part, otherwise it may not fit or work properly. I've also had times when the entire LCD was going bad and the display was full of squiggly lines. It's hard to say which one is the cause. I would try replacing the inverter first. That part is usually much cheaper than the LCD is.

Vertical Lines Display - Recovery shows setup not complete

As per my experience, the problem is not because of your Video Card/Driver. Such a problem arises due to faulty RAM. Change your RAM and enjoy computing.

Laptop screen jumps and imprints (ghostlike) left on screen

Drivers may not fix the issue but try the latest ones from the site below. You can't find them on the Nvidia site because Acer don't like sharing:

Q: Does NVIDIA support notebooks with UDA (downloadable drivers)?
Yes, NVIDIA has always been able to support notebooks with the unified driver on, however, our Tier 1 OEM partners have always required that we direct customers to their Web sites and disable support for their notebooks in our unified driver. NVIDIA does support OEMs/SBs who request that their notebooks be enabled in our unified driver. For example, most of our launch partners are enabled on our Web unified drivers (Sager, Falcon NW, Voodoo PC, ProStar, and others).

For some reason they don't list the 5633, but the 5630 has the same GPU.

Hope this helps,
