If I remember right, the touch pad board is just press fit into the dispenser frame. You will need a small thin straight screw driver or similar. I use to use my pocket knife blade. Stoop down low and look up at the very front edge of the control area. The plastic edge you will see is about 1/8 inch thick and a tight seam behind that edge. That is where you insert the screw driver and gently pry the control board away from the refrigerator. Once its loose you will see the wiring that needs unplugged. On some older models there was 1 or 2 little screws holding it on at each end. If you don't see the screws it just pops off as I stated before.

Touch screen not working only allowing me to access one item on the front screen and the inside screen is cut in half

Hi, the problem might be from different areas, like the touch screen or from the flex of the phone.

due to the cut half display, might has affected the touch pad. You will need to replace the cut half screen to see if the screen is attached to the touch pad.

Also the phones touch screen might not be working because there might be a problem with the flex of the phone.

If the screen is not damaged in any way, then the assumption of it being the screen is absolutely correct.

Have a nice day.

Display shows E0 F2 after pressing start and cancel at same time. No other buttons work. Stovetop still works.

F2-E0 - Shorted Touch Pad (Keypad) - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

I am receiving the same error message on the display window

Defective touch pad or clock (ERC) Replace touch pad or clock (ERC). Touch pad is a more common problem. Refer to F1 test at the top of this page for more information.

Function key shorted or stuck :
Replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC).

F1 touch pad / ERC test This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

F1 Stuck touch pad Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be cancelled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC), touch pad, or both.
