SOURCE: PoulonPro Leaf Blower will not run properly

the carb has a screen in it it needs to be cleaned out the fuel gets crystalized in the carb when it sits for a while. and if the carb has a high and low on the carb meaning 2 screws on the side of the carb .one is for air and the other is for fuel try this first start it up and give it full throttle and turn the high adjustment till it does something screw it in slowley and or out till it is at full rpm sometimes the adjustment screws do vibrate there way out of adjustment .if it dont work then take the carb apart to clean out the screen

SOURCE: craftsman leaf blower

Hi

Check the fuel lines, fuel filter and clean the fuel tank.Disassembly the carb and clean it carefully.Diafragm type carb has a fuelpump, pay attention to it ,has to be tighten not folded. When the engine gets warm ,the fuelpump cannot keep the right proportion of fuel and the air/fuel mixture is changing. It has to be changed.

SOURCE: Leaf blower does not respond when increasing throttle and engines

Unit is either having trouble picking up enough fuel or muffler is plugged. First disassemble the muffler and check that the flame arrestor screen is not clogged. Clean as needed. Cost, $0. Check fuel pickup line from fuel tank to carbureator for cracks. Replace if brittle or cracked. Next would be to check the diaphram in the carbureator. Even a small hole or crack can cause this problem.

Most likely its just a simple carburetor adjustment. Find the adj needle labeled "h". Turn that screw counter clockwise 1/4 to a half turn out. This will richen the mixture and should run like a champ

Stihl leaf blower motor dies when i try to give it full throttle

If the low and high speed screw are adjustable give them a try. Start with one turn on the low and two turns on the high speed. If these screws are fixed then you will probably have to put a carburetor kit in the carb. I hope this has been of some help. Donnyb60
